Hi everyone, new tutorial for you all today. We're crocheting a super cute mini strawberries charm that can decorate your bags, headphones, or car. These little strawberries are so small that they don't require any stuffing at all!
Materials:
Red, Green, and Yellow Scrap Yarn
- Weight: Medium (4)
- Fiber: 100% Acrylic
4.0 mm Clover Amour Crochet Hook: amzn.to/3noE9mz
Smaller Hook or Yarn Needle: amzn.to/3CuwV8A
Scissors: amzn.to/43G61Xb
Dimensions:
27cm long chain
4cm long strawberry
Stitches:
Magic Ring (mr)
Chain (ch)
Slip Stitch (sl st)
Single crochet (sc)
Notes:
- Try not to tighten the magic ring all the way, so you can easily add on the stem
- Tighten your slip stitches to make the seam smaller and less visible
- The chain 1 at the beginning of each round does NOT count as a single crochet
- Pull your loose ends to the inside of the strawberry to hide them and use as stuffing

There's an error in the first row with decrease, you have to do the 2sc+dicrease 4 times. After struggling a lot I finally made it and I made 3 for my friend, my sister and myself
mine turned out tinier but still looks so cute so tysm!! i'm making these to attach to a cat beanie, & i also made the other strawberry white (w/ pink blush for a gradient look)
It's so hard to do the strawberry but i still liked how it turned out tysm!!

I do 2 times eith this pattern sadly it can't look exactly like strawberry its look more circle
Mine came out w a lot of holes where the decrease was I used lighter color to see stitches . A stitch marker would have been helpful

how long does it take you to make it?
i love the pattern however during the strawberry the first round of decreases in the first stitch is slightly confusing. to me at least aha. so you finish the prior round with 16 and once all the decreases are done your supposed to end with 12 but i keep ending up with 14 i just dont understand what i keep doing wrong lo ),:
To get from 16 to 12, you need 4 decreases. You’re only doing 2, so you end up with a 14! You need to decrease every 3rd stitch

this worked super well, but for some reason I can't really attach my leaves to my strawberry? If I pull at the leaves or the chains between the two strawberries it always lifts up .... Did I just tie the wrong strands together or did I do smth else wrong?
I was also having this issue it was because she said not to close the magic ring too tightly and I think I left it a bit too loose...so the knots I tied were getting pulled out of the hole ....maybe when you pull the green strand close the magic loop tightly and then tie the knots
I had the same issue and i just ended up sewing the leaves down :)
