The beautiful Mark keds RIP - my father born in1928 phoned me the day this was on TOTP to tell me my favourite band had made it lol - possibly the only tie ever her watched it. RIP Mark and my dad
They almost made it so big at this point- genuinely awesome bassist - live had to be seen (felt) to be believed!!!

They had it all - great hooks, smart lyrics, one of the best rhythm sections ever, even the f*cking sleeve artwork was spiffy - they just never got the push. This was the song that should have sent them into the stratosphere
This was on tonight's Top Of The Pops (obviously a repeat). Was great to see it in really good good quality. Reminded me how much I want one of those POP KID tshirts now and how many you used to see about back then.
i saw sensless things, early nineties, cant for the life of me remember who they supported, carter usm popies or neds i believe . never managed to get to see wonderstuff :-( tho i did see Miles Hunt wandering around York the day they played Tork barbican years ago lol
No one gives a shit about the bass I guess. Incredible bass playing, they only showed him for a total of about 10 seconds, in 1 second increments. During the bass solo they panned over the drums. smh

Happy 30th birthday Easy To Smile: released 30th December 1991!
Wow what a great sound, not sure how I missed this first time round! Luckily caught it on BBC4 they should have been bigger!
Can't believe this was 24 years ago. Makes me feel old.
We are old. Lol. Who knew it would actually really happen??? (Gettin old that is). ;)
30 years now... I just discovered this because I was listening to some lousy noisy recording of BBC Top 20 on Mixcloud by an Israeli guy
RIP Mark💕

Two sadly missed bands
Saw them both together in Canterbury

I remember the drummer's double floor toms making a particular impression on me. Fantastic band, I missed seeing them live by 'this' much :-(

Saw them supporting New Model Army in Munich, ended up giving Cass a smoke while he was wandering around between sets, happy days :)

They were so far ahead of their time. I mean, this is 2000s music
