Denise Stewart the ink from the Jig is not wet, it’s dry instantly. So if will only come onto the next sock if you load the next sock onto the ink spot and press it. We load up to the same ink line every time so we are able to reuse the inserts many times.
THANK YOU FOR THE VIDEO MAN, I will be beginning my journey end of April or early May when my heat press and printer come in. still trying to figure out what else to buy to make these socks and other things. haven't read the description yet to see if you posted where to get everything.

@@Snow-Yeety we us a Mutoh RJ 900 X. You can use any sublimation printer. For images you can try and design or try and obtain images that are free use on Google or purchase from other artists is a good way to go
I don't even plan to sublimate anything i just HAD to subscribe for that blooper. LMAOOOOO ty!! great work, I need a heat press for myself but will definitely be sending some designs for socks to you!!!
It typically depends on the design itself! If it's heavily patterned, it'll be a lot more difficult lining it up. We've had clients measure the dimensions prior to pressing, but a lot of it also comes with trial and error. Making sure you have a good flip, switch, and roll after pressing the first side is ideal though, just make sure not to roll too much over as the second press can cause overlap. Hopefully, it works out!
Hi there thank you for sharing this information can i use a Roland TrueVIS VG-640 & VG-540 and if so would need different ink or just sublimation paper?
Kacee Bridgewater any printer that works with sublimation ink will work! So if you can sublimate onto say shirts and other fabric with that printer then you can sublimate on these socks also.
Hi there, I have loved watching lots of your tutorials recently!Would you know why my black is turning out faded and not as bold? I am currently using a Cricut easy press opposed to a pressurised heat press…could this be the reason?
Hi there. I started my own home printing company. I would like to know if you can do the sublimation on cotton socks? I love the socks idea. I want to do this also on mens and ladies underwear
Hi, first of all, good luck on the business journey! So our most popular products, our athletic socks, are cotton on the foot, but the portion that is sublimated is polyester. Dye sublimation works best on polyester material, so it may not work well with all cotton products.
New sub. Appreciate the education. What brand and size printer is that your using? What about the ink? I will search your channel on the techniques for the ink. I don't know how to connect the dots with the ink, multiple colors to printer.
Pedro Delesma I use Mutoh RJ 900x. But for a cheaper startup option you can go with Sawgrass or Epson. Some other channels show setting up those printers and the ink offered in depth. Check out Caps on Fire. Also the FB groups including ours are very helpful if you join and ask questions there
It does that because it is removing the moisture from the fabric. If it does that then press it again. I sometimes have to press up to 3 times to remove all the moisture.
