I think its because most of the other shows and movie characters are more for the comic role but bojack is very different, satire and relatable. You can see his face starting to think about it but stops there. I am usually like that since people who have watched it love it but getting someone to watch it is flipping the coin. If they go through couple episode and like it, they love it or ..
Bojack Horseman is the role I will remember him for the most. He is an amazing actor, but Bojack is one of the greatest shows of all time. Its creative freedom of being a animated series , combined with such human stories and feelings is unique.
Gob Bluth was one of my most favourite characters on Arrested Development ❤️ that scene with Liza Minnelli in the restaurant reading the specials to her cracks me up every time 😂
My favorite part of this interview is when Will Arnett says that when someone is a real fan and wants to talk about the show for real, with some sort of depth, he has all the time for them. I hope that's true and I love that. Of course I will likely never see this man LOL
honestly he actually looks like a younger Michael Keaton which is probably a good selling point as well! So sounding like Keaton's Batman and admittedly he does, sells it too!
The line that made me laugh the most in any show by any character was a flashback of Gob saying "you're not going to be hand-fed anymore" while releasing a seal to the sea. Later the seal bit off his brother's hand.
The first time I mostly just focused on the story and the serious and depressing side of it, and so many of the jokes just flew right past me. Only after rewatching it I realized how hilarious it actually is. God bless this show.

When I watched it for the second time, it hit me so hard emotionally I was blown away. Its depth is incredible and the emotion the show has solidified my opinion that it's the best animated show of all time and one of the best shows of all time period.
Bojack Horseman is the best animated show of all time. It's phenomenally well-written and the entire cast give the best performances of their career. The amount of depth Arnett brings to the role of an animated horse is extraordinary.

I love will arnett as gob in arrested development and I think he's perfect as the character. Gob, george sr. and tobias are my 3 favorite character's on arrested development. I also think he's pretty funny in blade's of glory and hot rod. I never watched 30 rock but I do want to watch that show and check it out at some point. I also haven't watched bojack horseman either but I'm going to at some point.
I watched Hot Rod for the first time like 3 years ago with my boyfriend at the time, and after that, I would constantly reference the "babe wait" scene to him. That started my love for Will Arnett
I wish he had talked about the other TV shows he starred in as well. I loved Running Wilde. Gave me a lot of Arrested Development vibes (unsurprisingly as it was made by Mitch Hurwitz) in a different fun setting.

jesus christ- i assumed will arnett would be doing a distinct, separate voice for bojack’s character- but bojack’s voice is just _his_ voice exactly. i can’t unhear it. will is just using his regular voice to voice the iconic character that is bojack- and he pulled it off perfectly. arnett has such a distinct, unique voice and way of delivering lines… no wonder they casted him as bojack. nobody could’ve done it better.
