You are welcome! and BTW, I made one of your box cards this morning for my daughter, who is turning 35 next Sunday. I punched holes on either side and threaded a matching ribbon through to tie it together. Very cute! It will hold some cash for a shopping trip. Thanks again!
Important to trim the card stock to the measurements printed on the screen. (On the video it kind of looks like the cardstock is 12 x 12 until the paper is turned to score along the length -- the 1 1/2 inch scores on either side.) After that, the instructions were easy to follow. Thanks so much!
I so appreciate the time you spend on your videos. You are articulate, creative, humble and give credit where it is due. I love your ideas! Have a Merry Christmas!
@vadeler I made this lovely little box, and I've attached it to a scrapbook page and have put tiny little gifts and tags in it, it looks amazing, thankyou for taking the time to make this tutorial, you've madde it very easy!! from Jane, England.
Just finished making one of these cards and they are SO easy!!! I've never made my own card before, just stamped and decorated ready made ones, and was a bit daunted at the prospect of making them. This is the first one I've created myself - and I'm really pleased (and feeling very much more creative now I've done it all myself) Thanks for sharing it with us! I'm looking forward to learning some other new techniques with your other video's :)
Way to go! People who create angles with papers like this are engineers :) So glad you create tutorials for people like me who would rather turn over and go to sleep than hurt my little tiny brain cells figuring this out. Big thanks!!!!!
I love this so much. This is like the perfect card that is able to pass my message and also provides a space for me to put a little present in it for my friend. Thanks so much!
I totally love ur idea, I agree on u that origami is a lil bit more tricky with all those flip the paper this way or the other... thank u very much for sharing this amazing project it will certainly come handy for next holiday season...
@SuperCheesetastic you don't need fancy tools to make something beautiful, when you make it with your heart it shows, all the best with your new love ;)
Great tutorial ! Love how you kept it simple. I'm going to put a gift card in the centre . It's perfect for that. I'll be looking for more tutorials from you. Thank you!
I absolutely love this, and you have made it very easy to follow, so I'm going to try it out with some old paper first, then I'm going to make some! Thanks for a great tutorial x
@eflanjap Sure! the overall card size is 29cmx21cm on the landscape score at 6 1/2cm , 10 1/2cm , 18 1/2cm and 22 1/2cm flip it to portrait and score at 4cm and 17cm to make the V shape in the center you will place marks at 14 1/2cm on the landscape on either side . hope this helps :)
You did a beautiful job...I like that it's something unique. I'm going to try and make one now for a friend. I hope I can do it without tearing the card because I don't have a score board and I've ripped a few in the past...so here goes >>> ~Pauline
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I'm really gonna try to make a box card. And because i,m from the Netherlands i was reallyhappy that you got the cm with it. So again thank you very much :):)
Lovely and easy to make! 2 in 1 - makes a great gift box! lol I'm going to put in a small open heart necklace for my friend whose b'day's soon up! Just hoping it fits! :/
I have to tell you, I think your version is the best because I like the style of your card, but for some reason I must be box card challenged because I can't seem to grasp this. Any help you can add for me?? Also have you seen the card that looks like a dresser? We are having trouble with that one too. There are about 30 of us that are trying to grasp these two. Thank you for any help you can give us.
so I looked back at all the comments and found your question, I usually do answer each question but obviously missed this one as can sometimes happen, I wouldn't say I was rude ....and yes you could cut it down to fit into an envelope
I like this version. I've been looking for this n the 8.5 x 11. I really don't purchase 12x12 paper. Thanks for a wonderful tutorial. Hugs 'N Blessings
Great video tutorial :-) I am going to try this and just want to add that I think I will decorate inside bottom and top 'flaps' before I assemble the box. Thanks again!
Hey, great work!! Keep it up :) can u juz help me out! I bought a beautiful mobile back cover for iPhone 3, fo a friend of mine. I wana make a card, shaped exactly like an iPhone. I want it such, that can fit inside that cover, and when i press a button, the card opens and pops out!! Can u help me out with such a mechanism??
@lit709 if you check out the link in the details below the clip it will take you to my blog and you can read more there. this design was originally done as an origami style box which i converted to make it simpler :-)
If you have a paper trimmer you can remove the blade, line up your paper and very softly score down that center area where the blade would normally cut.
I've made it!!!!!!!!!!! it's really wonderful!!! Thx a great deal. My invitations will be extraordinary and really original! Thx once again!!! You've got a BIG plus from me;)
Such a nice idea! TFS! BTW, that gal who called you rude was way out of line. If you brought her a pie she might demand to know the recipe and call you rude if you don't immediately answer all her questions. Let's just be grateful for the delicious pie!

I LOVE! that you credit someone else when you use part of their idea, no matter how big or small, it's very admirable.

Beautifull !!(the second part?)
Thanks!
I am of Zaragoza, Spain
And my loving the tags.
Use a metal ruler and a ball-stylus, [or an empty ball point pen], on top of a surface with a little "give" to it, a thick magazine, an old mouse pad.
you mean the score board... yes you can, follow the link below the video to my blog and i have measurements there for you :)
