    Thank you for taking the time to show us this and provide some really useful information. I’ve never used a hackamore mainly because of not knowing how to properly use it. I definitely have a better understanding now.

    I have been riding my horse in a halter but anytime he gets excited he acts like it's not even there. Will it be harder for him to ignore a hackamore?
