"average gas mileage for the Mazda is 25 mpg" uh......I dont think so, maybe under perfect conditions. These cars have worse gas mileage than most cars with a v8. 17 mpg is more realistic.
With the hindsight of modern knowledge on the reliability (or lack there of) from Mazda’s rotary engine, the choice is 100% clear and the trophy goes to Porsche. However, if I were ever so inclined, living in the 1980’s having a Mazda RX-7 as a slayer of giants undercutting the Porsche in price and value would’ve been perfectly acceptable.
loooooooord - these cars looks dated. The review is nice. But look at how far we've come since. Guess they would be great youngtimer classics....if you can stand the extreme body roll ;-)
that porsche has so much body roll
the buzzer in the mazda lol
i love it

The Rx-7 is 1300CC
They stated a piston-engine capacity equivalent.
@@JMartinni Indeed, but still misleading if you consider that road tax is paid on actual cc not "capacity equivalent" cc.
Back when cars were fucking proper

I wish I could buy a new Porsche for £18k today.
"The Porsche should hold its value better in the second hand market I suppose."
lol mazda definitely didnt figure out rotor tip wear
I love my 924s ;)
Rx7 all the way
Finny that the Rx7 is not almost twice the price of the porsche
The Mazda's displacement is NOT 2,354 cc!
