I think what makes slenderman so brilliant is the fact that he appears at perfect moments when you're alone, feeling hopeless then just to see a tall slender man to send you to the afterlife so pretty much, slenderman really invokes your fear or sense of isolation.
This is quite possibly one of the greatest Slenderman short films I have ever seen to date. The way this was filmed is brilliant, i really like the eerie foggy setting. The way Slenderman was portrayed here is excellent, the nature of him was captured perfectly with keeping to the original concept with a few great original traits to him that had more to his character and make him seem more believable and scary. The acting was also very well done, if an official Slenderman movie where to ever be made, I would love to see you guys do it.

Very well done short film, and I think you captured the essence of Slenderman better than any other film I've seen. The only problem with the film at all was that at 4:16 You can't fire a musket rifle without having the hammer pulled back; it's just not possible. That one little problem aside, bang up job!

Because model muskets are extremely expensive this is actually a rubber gun we rented from a local prop shop so the hammer was fixed. It's a bummer, but this is also one of our oldest films now and we're getting better about those kinds of details. :) Really glad you liked the film!
Absolutely loved everything in this film. The sound was great, the effects were great, the actors were great. Slender-man moved sorta goofy but just realistic enough that to make you think it was a living creature. Best thing about it was the ending though. Fully expecting Slender to kill the dude. Film shows great love for the character and it was absolutely epic.
The concept of how a confederate soldier and slender man is interesting because it shows how old slender man is and gives me weird vibes that historical figures facing the slender man
