Oh now I understand why liberator can shoot void gun.
You see most the sets uses shadow energy, ice energy, heat energy and all but only liberator and menemos set (level 6 ) use void energy. That button on left side of the screen is nothing but *Amulet that uses void energy* to protect you from incoming attack for a period of time.
The special ability button of other set doesn't work because they don't have void energy in liberator set works because it has void energy.
One of the other reasons for the working of special ability button might be, while playing the event we came to that this set is nothing but *set of stranger before epilogue.* So you can kinda say that liberator set and stranger are kinda related.

I defeated it so easily with the anibot set that the 2nd round lasted 4 seconds. Thanks to the burning aurora feature, the opponent was defeated automatically. I was disappointed that such an epic battle ended so easily.
