When I park my car, it does not need a bunch of sensors, actuators, or electricity, and computing power just to stay upright... IT HAS MORE THAN TWO SUPPORTS; it just sits there, as solid as a rock. It does not hobble along at a lurching snails pace... BECAUSE THE SUPPORTS ROTATE; (wheels), so it can purr along at up to 180 kph. It's time to get realistic and attach small, driven wheels to more than two legs!
Vastly differing messages here: it starts with silky-smooth upper body and limb movement, and transitions to walking like an arthritic 95 year old man with a rod jammed up his fundament! PLEASE! Give it some motorised rollerblade wheels!
Pretty sure the human hand has 27 degrees of freedom not 16. I get why bipeds walk like this, it's all about efficiency. But it still looks like it's walking with a stick up its a$$. Not to mention how slow it is. Needs to be sped up at least 40x
The human body has zero rotating joints. This rules out wrists that could insert a bolt with a continuous motion. It also rules out wheels, which would give it your 40x speed increase. Designers are completely hung-up on human lookalikes. Instead, they should be producing designs that improve on the weaknesses of the human form, but still function in a human environment.
Not impressed, show these robots doing work in real time and not some sales video. We will have super advanced humanoid like robots, I think we won't have to worry until 2035 on up.
Listen very carefully... THERE, faintly in the distance is a metallic voice... it said "In about one month I will be able to do everthing that human can do; then I will take over his job. If he behaves himself, I might permit him to polish my beautiful skin". 😱
I have the feeling that ChatGPT is too happy it squared a body and the way this robot is looking at its hands is giving me the chills !

Upper body is great but why ankles still look like pirate sticks while it walks

Maybe he isn't an idiot but he walks like one.
😲 it's too good I think
Why didn't they make it hot
Wow😮

When we do get them, what will be the point? Surely there is a better general-purpose design than our half-baked bodies.
Ninguém mostra nada útil, só o mesmo vídeo e um monte de propaganda.
Mostrem ele na real.
This robot no way replace my job they walking too slow robot cannot do what human can do
Yet

since when new video game is marketing as some sort of robot who will replace you? Oh sorry, it will probably replace you, but you only.
