- MP Navneet Rana along with her MLA husband Ravi Rana was taken into custody by Mumbai Police for threatening to recite the Hanuman Chalisa outside Uddhav Thackeray's private residence. A case was registered under section 353 of the Indian Penal Code, which deals with assault or use of criminal force against a public servant in the execution of his duty. Navneet Rana, later, wrote a letter to Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla alleging torture following her arrest over her threats. She alleged that she was abused because of her caste. Reacting to the allegations of custodial mistreatment by Amravati MP Navneet Rana, Mumbai Commissioner of Police Sanjay Pandey shared a video showing the MP and her MLA husband Ravi Rana having tea in the Khar Police Station. Now, in the latest episode of The Lallantop’s ‘Neta Ji Ghere Mein’, Navneet Rana answers all the questions related to this entire row of incidents in an interview with Editor Saurabh Dwivedi.
