Let me help you in that. Pakistan plans to induct a lot more J-10 C as well as JF-17 Block III. As for J-31 I can see that in PAF colors in next three to four years. China is developing a engine called WS19 which is for J-31. Hopefully it gets ready soon and we can get them fast.

As a Indian I congratulate to the people of Pakistan that they are inducting new 5th gen figher.
But in my personal opinion we always behind in aircraft technology.
But its a game of money war not going to happen in the upcoming 10 years so I dont think that it will hurt us much but in a long run this superiority of pak airforce will bite the dust cause our economy if grow like this I dont think Pakistan will be a headache in the future.

I'm surprised how everyone is jumping to conclusions that we are buying these jets in large quantity. Bro a single one of these costs around a $100million. Secondly these are twin engined fighter jets which are against the PAF's doctrine of acquiring single egine fighters to avoid oprational cost overhead. Thirdly, we were active with the Turkish Kaan project which was also a 5 gen stealth aircraft touted to be Turk-Pak aircraft. Where did that go? I believe strongly that this was meant as a message for enemies of Pak that PAF is actively gonna upgrade its arsenal to the lastest equipment rather than a real deal for J-31s.
This aircraft cost around $70mill . And the Kaan project is delayed that is the reason Pakistan is considering buying this aircraft .

I seriously doubt it. Historically PAF does not reveal it's major acquisition plans beforehand. This news is for the United States to acquire F16 block 70 or at least upgrade the current fleet of F16 to more advanced standards. With this statement, PAF sending two messages or call it blackmail, that USA better comply with our demands/needs or we will become Chinese Jet Technology enabler by telling the world that it has enough trust to operate Chinese platforms.
I dont this so. USA dont care about Pak anymore i guess. Their main focus in Sub continent is India right now. PAF should not depend on chinese made crafts anymore. Try to build in PAK and invest more in edu, healthcare and economy.
And i think f16s has been getting mid life upgrades as well and it has increased their life by 15k hours which mean PAF can operate them for rest of the century. I will put a big caveat of I Think for this info.
