    Thanks guys! I’ve been waiting for this for a while, lol. Definitely worth the wait. You guys should test the GruppeM carbon fiber intake. It looks almost identical to the Eventuri. I’d love to know, and I’m sure others would too, which one produces more power before I drop crazy cash for either one.

      Absolutely. Gotta at least try the Japanese ram air system before going euro on an FL5 imo

    Been looking forward to this video for some time and all I can say is, it's well worth the wait!
    Also, I find the video to be very enjoyable to watch and the technical insights very easy to understand.^^

      APR Performance carbon air-dam! It's an amazing piece, you can pick one up or find out more here: www.civictyperparts.com/products/apr-performance-front-lip-air-dam-honda-civic-type-r-fl5-2-0t-k20c1-2023?_pos=2&_sid=3c86c34e4&_ss=r

    It was interesting to see the torque and hp of the Eventuri was actually less than the stock airbox, prior to the turbo spooling, from then the gains were consistently above from that point.
    I'd imagine that could be tuned out, but it's interesting!

    • @DreamAutomotive
      @DreamAutomotive  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Bilal and ourselves had the same conversation! This dip will be easily tuned out, providing an even larger gain.

      @@DreamAutomotive Thanks for the reply!
      Yeah like if you consider the pre-spool area like any other K20 or low CC N/A motor, it kinda makes sense to see a loss in the N/A section of the range, just shows how big the internal dimensions of the Eventuri intake are and how much greater the flow is, really.
      That's going to make some nice gains once tuned accordingly.

    After seeing all of the issues the GR Corolla guys are having with the Eventuri, I'll gladly take a pass on it. On top of that, Eventuri just flat out ignorning them.

    Eventuri air intake is good gain on hp and torque for FL5 and FK8 but Eventuri turbo inlet pipe looked a little bigger on FL5 than FK8. 😁👍

    • @DreamAutomotive
      @DreamAutomotive  ปีที่แล้ว

      Indeed, the intake pipe for the FL5 will be bigger! It will also be backwards compatible to the FK2 and FK8 👀

    • @DreamAutomotive
      @DreamAutomotive  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      All tests in this video were WITHOUT the Eventuri turbo tube... In a few weeks we will carry out tests focused on the tube: stock tube + stock intake then we will test Eventuri Tube + stock intake and our final test will be Eventuri Tube + Eventuri Intake.
      Thanks for watching!

    People who modify perfectly good cars are idiots.
    So you are going to lose your warranty and devalue the car for the sake of 10hp (which you will not feel the difference in a car weighing over 1400kg) and a bit of chavvy blow off noise.
    I have one of these and they struggle to put the power down in stock form through 1st and 2nd as it is, the last thing it needs is more power.
    If you want something to spend your money on, get some tuition on how to drive them properly and that will be money well spent. Try CAT driver training (for us here in the UK). You will be amazed at how fast these things are in stock form when you learn how to drive them properly, utilising the full grip the car has etc. They are mind blowing.
    More power is not the answer.

    • @Reptilianoverlord-jc8mt

      Yeah but it still overheats in stock form around the track. Intercooler and a performance radiator is a must and a turbo blanket.
