Blessings and joy and good health to you this lovely Easter Sunday! Thank you for making it possible for all so inclined to join in, despite the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic. Greetings from my husband Jeff Hendrickson and me. We are former parishioners and choir members of St. Stephen’s, East Liverpool and current parishioners and choir members of St. James’, Boardman. It was great to see our dear Bishop Mark, Jeff’s friend Ute Lindenmaier Villefroy, and our beloved friend and former choir director RuthAnn Paisley Reiner involved too. My heart was lifted knowing that though we are physically separate from each other in these difficult times, we as a faith family carried on as one branch of the Body of Christ even so. I invited every Facebook friend and family member in nineteen nations around the world, if they had no other plans, to join us, from each home, for this. I encouraged them all to consider it whether part of the faith family, or not, and whether filled with faith or filled with doubt, or disbelief. All are welcome in our denomination. Now more than ever, I believe the world needs the Good News that Love has already and will ultimately always triumph over evil, apathy, sickness, sorrow, and death. I pray that our lives will reflect the message even more than our words inadequately do. Thank you again. The Lord is risen indeed! Alleluia!
Wonderful. Inspirational. Obviously the result of a lot of practice and planning. Kristine: beautiful singing as always. Todd: excellent choice for the postlude; the Flentropp is made for Bach's toccatas.
