Do you know it's good to use a condenser as a sub mic along with the main kick mucrophone, mostly preffered for concerts such as rock, metal, house(sometimes), or where ever the kick sound have to be deep as well as slappy and crispy at ths same time, where the woofers give you the right punch and the HF's would give you the accurate slap if you mix properly through the FOH. If you use a digital console all everything you get at the same console, but if you use an analogue one such as the ghost, GL2400/2800 or the GB8 you sometimes have to need some of the processors such as the compressors or gates for instance.
In case of mike-ing kicks of soft genres one kick microphone is good for most of the times, but cannot say it will sound great, as live sound is always .....................
"trial and error " method I believe.

I have 4 behringer microphones, but working well. I found it much better than the SM 58's in many of the cases. Try to find out the microphones I talked about, I am not sharing the model name/no.
