The Jember Regency Government has held a public Carnival on September 16 2023.
The carnival was held with the theme "NUSANTARA CULTURE CARNIVAL" which was attended by 70 devils from various agencies, institutions and individuals involving several personnel from several sub-districts in Jember Regency.
This carnival aims to more intensively introduce the local wisdom of the city of Jember to all people in Jember and people outside Jember district.
With the hope of further growth and development of the Jember community's economy through various sectors, including tourism, trade, industry, agriculture and other sectors.
This event was very lively and lively, the carnival participants enthusiastically wearing Indonesian cultural costumes walked from the start, namely at the KIR office belonging to the Transportation Service which is located on Jalan Hayamwuruk and ended at the finish line, namely in the Jember city square, with a distance of around 4 km.
The carnival participants were so enthusiastic that it was as if they didn't feel the heat of the weather on a hot day, they gathered at the starting location starting at 10 am and starting at 13.30, they walked and danced or danced and several others did attractions.
They deserve a thumbs up because of their enthusiasm, namely the spirit of the struggle for independence.
