Woodturning a Mouse

- In this video I create a wooden mouse on the lathe. This is mostly spindle type turning and is a very simple project good for any level of woodturner. I also made up a piece of wooden cheese just to display the mice. This was a bid of a whimsical type project, unlike my more traditional work, but it was fun and makes a great little gift.

This video is for entertainment purposes, woodturning can be dangerous, follow all safety precautions when using your tools and equipment and get proper instruction/training.
Something different this time, but beautifull as always.
Thanks
Great job, I will make a few just to add to my display of cutting boards.
Thanks, great idea
Great project! Thanks for posting!
Thanks
Lovely. Following clear voice detail video
Thanks
That's a quick and easy project. Nicely done.
Thanks
I love these little mice! I'm thinking that I'll make some with painted eyes, so they are just a bit more kid friendly! Hoping to make a few today for a sale tomorrow, in Port Severn 🇨🇦 Ontario
Thanks Frank!
Thanks, yes, painted eyes/nose would make it more child friendly for sure and reduces a bit of drilling. great idea. Good luck with the sale....we are from the Peterborough, ON area and I hope to sell these in some shows I am doing later in the summer and into the fall, have not figured out what to sell them for, maybe $25 or $30 ???
@@frankdidomizio you could probably get that price in the city! But the smaller towns don't seem to want to pay a fair price for items like this. I actually did very well at the sale, and I've been invited to the Coldwater Steampunk festival in August! I'd better get busy!
Great news for you, well done. Yes, I am getting faster at making these now and I think I will try $20 when I do get to sell them at a show I am doing in mid August. Same thing in my area, often people don't want to pay for the time you put into unique hand made pieces.
Great idea! My wife loves mice and I will make her a pleasant surprise! Thanks Frank!
Thanks, it will make a great little surprise
Neat job, Frank. Thank you.
Thanks
