Nice job brother - even though i have been work on Splunk for a long time but had completely forgotten about dashboard token management - it was a good video reminding me of the process.
This was quite simple please explain for trellis piechart. My pie chart view consists of failure and success counts for different services and the it is splitted by servicename as trellis. Now in the drilldown in next panel I want to click over a service piechart to show events for the success or failure of that particular service in next panel. My drilldown is not taking service name value what to do
Please follow Splunk Documentation, Process is quite similar to what I have shown in this video, however to get table values there are different variables which you need to make use of. I had stopped creating further videos on Splunk as there seems to be very less audience for Splunk.
Hi Vikas Jha, Thank you very much! I have a dashboard with indexes and problem words. When I click in the Meeting point should open another dashboard with the information that I click. One example: index Ansible Word problem error. How can I do that? Thank you already!
It would be difficult to answer it in the comments. Will try to include some example in my future tutorials. Meanwhile i would suggest to ask it in Splunk communities website.
Nice video just a query when someone opens this dashboard the second panel will always show as search is waiting for input and will populate only when u click on pie chart how to get the original data when nothing is selected instead of waiting for input
Thanks bro🙏🏻 For your requitement I would suggest to refer to this article docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/latest/Viz/tokens#Set_tokens_on_page_load
