I was so lucky to grow up in the 60s and the 70s. We had the best choices of real music.
I so agree with you Chad, the 70’s music is some of THE very best music and I adore this song! Thanks for choosing it. I am going to be 78 In a week, and listening to you and other young reactors to our music has given me such a new appreciation for the time period I have lived. I truly thank you for playing our music and letting us know what you hear which is usually so positive and heartfelt. It has made me listen to our music more discerningly.
I was pleasantly surprised to see you on a Tuesday. This is such a classic song. The 70s had some of the best music.
OMG!! I love this song. The bass line is my heart beating, and the guitar is my adrenaline rush. The vocals always transport me. It is very 1978, and that was super time in music. Don't you love the harmony on "Til the Night Closes In?"
It's so sad that Jimmy Stokley,the leadsinger died so young only 42ys old in 1985...😪

On the Billboard Top 100 charts of 1978, Kiss You All Over was # 5, and Andy Gibb #1 with Shadow Dancing, Bee Gees #2 with Night Fever, and #6 with How Deep is Your Love. A little further down is Andy Gibb again with Love is Thicker than Water and An Everlasting Love. ELO on the charts as well! 1978 was a great year!!

This was a HUGE hit in the late 70s. I saw Exile in concert a couple of times in the 80s or 90s, after they had become a successful country group. They had a different lead singer, and he was even better than the one in this video.

Jimmy Stokely is awesome, he's the dude with the long blonde hair and the deep voice that is sex❤ Everyone worked so great together, they were tight. This song came out when I was 8 years old and still love it❤❤❤

Take it from us children born during this time….according to my dad this is what you call “baby making music”. I’ve loved this one all my life. Sadly the guy with the long hair died in the mid 80’s? I think from liver failure. The rest of the band turned to playing country music and had a lot of success but to me this was them at their best!
