- $5 street food challenge in Bangkok night market. Today we will be visiting The Street Ratchada night market to see exactly how much food we can buy with only $5! This is challenge that is currently going around on TH-cam and I figured why not hop on here and give it a try! Bangkok, Thailand is famously known for its street food and not only can you find Thai food on the streets, but also food from many other places in thee world as Bangkok is a massive city with people from all around the world! Previously I've taken you on a Bangkok Street food tour, we visited Mark Wien's Restaurant , and I also showed you the Nightlife in Bangkok's Soi Cowboy, but never on a $5 budget! This will be fun!

It’s hard for me to limit myself to spend only $5 when it comes to night market. Too many choices that it will be difficult for me to choose from and therefore I will likely end up buying everything I want to try 😊

That's one of the things I like about Thailand, the night food markets, unfortunately, when you try to find it for the lunch time it will be difficult :)

In Pattaya, there's a couple of markets that are open during the day, and the food is just as amazing
Pad ka prao is my fave too and am from the Philippines. But I prefer minced chicken or minced beef with my pad ka prao

Pad Kraprao in Thai have varieties in taste. A lot of chef cook it in different ways.

The authentic pad kaprao must have no carrot, no baby corn, no beans. And use black sauce, not oyster sauce.

For the chicken skewer, the texture becomes raw-ish because it was soaked in a brone solution over night perhaps making it juicy. But that's cooked. Even breast part becomes super juicy.
