I get extremely excited for the Jets when I view videos of Jordan Travis.... There are definitely QB's that went in the draft whose metrics are better but if that were the true judge of a quality QB, guys like Zach Wilson would be the best.. Everyone raves about Caleb Williams, while there is reason to be excited about him because he is a very toolsy QB with a great upside BUT it takes more than that to be a great NFL QB. Jordan, from everything I see is a VERY solid QB, though his arm isn't the strongest, it doesn't have to be... He gets the ball where he needs it and with great precision. He's a very advanced "touch" passer... He's mobile in the pocket and is intelligently mobile when the situation calls for it... What sets him apart from most all drafted QB's is that being a 4 years starter, he's taken more snaps and a lot more snaps against quality competition and he's excelled and even made the adjustments on the fly. Very high football IQ... What's even more impressive for a guy his age is his apparent very high EQ... He's a leader who has inspired people around him. He's a quality person... Hopefully, the horrible injury is behind him and he can get back to full strength. Getting to watch Aaronn and Tyrone day in and day out will definitely help him on and off the field, especially in preparation. Jets fans (and I'm one) should be very excited about the future. I think we finally found our franchise QB. The road to greatness is not always a straight line but is more predictable if the individual has the makeup and the support to get there. Of course, the Jets could screw this all up like everything else they've done but they were handed a gem so I hope they do right by him...
Crazy where he started to where he is now throwing the football. I can’t remember a college QB who made that kind of progress. He went from being a below average passer to a top 10 college QB. Awesome job.
No doubt hes made jumps but still a ways to go in terms of being a pretty accurate QB...I think hes seeing the field much better, Norvells system is great for him and maybe most importantly we had VERY good wide receivers, extremely underrated.....But nonetheless an absolute elite playmaker on the ground. Which if your a college QB is probably more important than putting the ball in a small circle. Gotta be able to do it with the legs in College and there he is one of the best in the nation
So proud of Jordan!!! I can’t say enough great things about him. He’s turned this program around and ignored all the hate and improved every season into the Heisman candidate he is today. Watch out 2023
But I was told that he was just a WR playing QB? I was also told he couldn’t throw? How could he possibly put up these type of numbers and lead a team to 10 wins?!
He's gotten so much better. Very rare to see a QB progress that much in college. Lamar Jackson is the obvious comp but it just feels more and more true every game.
Bro you kno how much better this receiving group could be next year. Johnny gone be one best receivers in the country with a full off season to get better and get his hands all the way right. Portier gone be a baller he a sleeper. Winston Wright coming back and he gone be electric. Mycah could be really good as he improve even more also Malik McClain we got hella options and talent at receiver for next year with these guys getting better not to mention the tight end talent next year with Jahiem Bell omg
@Real Likeable well we lost some but still a strong wr core I think Wilson and Wright alone will be enough cause don't forget about these 2 ko tight ends! And then there's also ja'khi Douglas sinking out the back
@@reallikeable7020 amazing how this comment is completely outdated yet still factual. Unfortunately Mcclain and Pittman are gone, but we replace them with better talent... INSANE... Keon Coleman is going to be an absolute star this upcoming season. Johnny is no doubt top 10 in his class. Jaheim is buying into the program, he should be a great option.... Destyn Hill comeback... Spann 6'5" holding it down as a great substitute The depth is there this year
I like this kid and if he keeps going he'll be a 1st Round Pick. I'm sure he'd like that being on the older spectrum of 2024 College QBs. I'd love for him to find his way to Philadelphia or Baltimore!

I remember me and my Dad wondering how the hell this guy got the job 2 years ago. I couldn’t have been more wrong, wine Travis on the field we will always be a dangerous offense
Been saying he could get to an elite level as a QB with the proper development since he dominated the 2019 spring game and I swear mfs looked at me stupid. PS. Even Kenny Dillingham said he was a NFL QB,
Jets 4th rnd pick so necessary. his career is going to be phenomenal one..
My team the New York jets gotta draft him in this upcoming draft
Wow nice prediction

As a bama fan I love watching Jordan Travis
As an fsu fan I can't wait to watch Bryce Young in the nfl....Carolina please don't draft him
@@OnlyNolesknow same as an fsu fan Bryce Young is electrifying

@JuniorbeastYT I know...I can't argue with the decision I was just hoping they would try cj out, I'll still be watching Bryce that's for sure
@Jasanii2k saints are a ? I think it's Carolina and the falcons, the bucs suck and that just leaves those 2
Put my dawg on the 2023 Heisman watch. This man can ball.

jalen hurts
@@clarencefieldsjr12 that’s a solid example. I’d say Hurts was a much better passer than Jordan early on. But it’s definitely a really good parallel.

Heisman Trophy winner
Future raiders qb

The stats graphic is very inaccurate lol

He balled out this year! Glad to see him silence the haters.
Jordan Travis is the best dual threat QB in the Nation
I see hesiman run
So funny Willy Taggart had this man and never played him. Travis for Heisman 2023
That was the craziest thing to me Bryles wanted to play him so bad

Critics disrespected trav before the season and now he demands respect and is coming for it all next year

Can’t wait for next season! People aren’t ready 😤🍢
I saw it years ago finally got the pieces he needed
Too bad Malik is gone. Coleman

He has a good playmaking style on the ground and in the air. Need to see more accuracy in the middle but his deep balls look good
We had a great season 💯
