- Waterfalls are found all over Indonesia and Java is home to some of our favourites that we have ever visited! But on our way to those waterfalls some of the roads we had to take to get there.... well they weren't really roads at all!
We literally had to drive through waterfalls to get to waterfalls... I guess theres a first time for everything...

Guys there are some cases of mud flood from the waterfalls recently because of the rainy season in Indonesia. Please be careful during your journey in waterfalls area. Safety first.

@@SilkyRonTheRoad when you were in waterfall and see the change of water colour or water flow suddenly , you should run away because big rain happened in upstream river and will be very dangerous especially in rainy season
No need to worry because
1. If waterfall is located at tourist area, the guard will remind all visitors or even closed the area
2. The victims are mostly people with less travel experiences, or even local tourist... for experienced people, they should be able to see when the water is going to be floating.

Wow, that waterfall was insanely beautiful. I absolutely loved it. I wish I were there to feel the energy the water created from negative and positive ions bumping each other. You get a happy feeling from the ions bumping each other.

That place that you asked is Pak trobos ( the place that many truck ? And the place at the second rifer is located of erupted Semeru mountain 2 years ago, and about 50 people kill3d at that moment.

I always needed a fan at night in Bali to keep the mosquitoes off me. I also used air con because I can’t sleep when I’m to hot because at home I like it at 67 degrees F and use blanks. Hahahaha, I’m from Alaska If that answers any questions. Lol.

on the first minutes, both of you has passed the cold lava river. be carefull because the joyable view suddenly become frightening situation if the rains showed up. many trucks and excavators was swiped away. those villages was on the foot of the volcano. you can see the remains of the erruption. but enjoy your amazing trip. explore the unique places and beautiful scenery.

I have traveled from Jakarta to the islands of Sumatra, Java and Bali, now I am on holiday on Sulawesi Island, in Sulawesi there are also lots of very beautiful natural views. There are still few local and foreign tourists.
However, it is very suitable for adventures in the wild, it’s just that the prices of basic necessities such as food and accommodation on this island are more expensive, and the weather is hotter than on the islands of Sumatra, Java and Bali.

those are sand mining trucks on the Besok Kobokan River (Pasrujambe Village, Pasrujambe District, Lumajang Regency), sand mining from Mount Semeru (it is the highest mount on the Island of Java, Mount Semeru is 3,676 meters above sea level. Western of my hometown Malang City…it’s around 161 kilometers. Always be careful when riding a motorbike, during the rainy season, wind and cold... and next Welcome to Malang Raya (Malang City, Malang Regency, Batu City) which has many tourist destinations (34 beaches, 23 waterfalls, 16 Buddhist and Hindu temples from the 12th century)NICE GREETINGS from Malang

The waterfall is so beautiful, I live near there and have never been there. oh yes, the snake fruit there is the best of all types of snake fruit in Java and the waterfall you pass is a lava flow from Mount Merapi which produces a lot of sand for buildings

The first river you guys crossed was "Curah Kobokan". When the Semeru mountain erupts sand, rock and water with mud will flow through that river. It could be bless (for the sand miner and sometimes when it overflows, it becomes disaster. That happened around 2 years ago. Many people died in that area and in the river because the eruption brought not only mud and sand but also very hot cloud / smoke.

Actually there is a slightly cheaper accommodation near the Tumpak Sewu waterfall, the accommodation is called "D'corner Homestay" which costs 250k. Includes breakfast and modern toilet with hot water. Actually, Coban Sriti waterfall can now only be seen from the top because once a visitor came down and he was lost and never found until now.
Wow, that’s crazy! We thought that it was only closed because of recent landslides… such a sad story!

it is one of three rivers affected by the cold lava spewing from Mount Semeru in lumajang (the Glidik river in Tempursari, then the Rejali river in Pasirian and the Mujur river in Tempeh) -.because the bridge was damaged by cold lava :-)
