This is an amazing build video, and I love how much detail you go into for this. I do have a question/request if I may. Would it be possible for you to show how to do some of these builds without power equipment? I ask, because while I am fairly interested in a number of these builds, (especially this one) I also don't have equipment like a bandsaw/scrollsaw, or drill press; so I'm not entirely sure of the best way to try to cut some of those massive blocks especially when we're stacking multiples like on this build (a 38 and 2 6's). I do thank you for showing us these builds and making the patterns available at a minimal cost, and thank you very much for your time.

      Hi TMD!
First of all thanks for the kind words and appreciating everything that goes into designing, making filming, editing, etc. It’s a lot of work and it’s super nice to see that someone appreciates it. Showing how to do it without power is a cool idea for a video - unfortunately, my last build video will be posted this tuesday at 7pm, and my farewell video will be this friday at 7pm. I’m bowing out after 3 years.
Concerning your question, unfortunately sometimes power equipment is totally necessary when the foam gets super thick. You can cut super thick foam with the box cutter I use in the video since the blade is pretty long. Sharpen it up and it will work for straight or curved pieces, but the part that isn’t really possible is cutting a super thick piece that has a really tight curve. That’s where the scroll saw comes in. And sometimes you can use a sharpened brass tube to punch out a hole instead of a drill press. I use sharpened brass tubes a lot in my videos.
Thanks again for the kind words - I needed them as I make my exit.

TNTCOSPLAYSUPPLY has everything. Only thickness they don’t have is 3MM so I get that at Hobby Lobby.

Great gun, but “Maliwan” is the name of the company that made that gun, not the name of the gun.
