According to the UL72:2015 test requirement in United States for fire resistance of fire safes and gun safes, along with the outside test furance temperature increasing, the inside tempreature can't be more than 350F (176.67° C ).The sodium silicate-based intumescent seals is more suitable for gun safe application.
The gun safe inside temperature with RESSA RYZW series sodium silicate fireproof seals is approved no more than 220F(104.44° C).
