I'm using him as an impact player in a SOM position. Playing it simple with Jo is the most efficient way of using him (few touches), at least for me. His positioning skill is awesome and when playing him as a SOM you don't have to wait until he's in position. Sometimes his slow movements causes his passes to be blocked.
For low drivens use low driven curved shots, so a normal curve shot but before you kick the ball press the chip shot button, those are really OP if you do them near post
