I was always adding the previous braid to far down into the next row making the braid too chunky
This is the best way. and notice she's not connecting them until she gets to the back. This is how you get flat sides and just all around period. If you start to connect them while on the side of the head you will have a bulky look a the end from the sides, your head will look like a square. cant wait to do this now . Thank you for showing how you connected the back

Thank you so much for this tutorial! 🤗 I’ve been searching for how to tie up the ends. I originally thought I had to sew them in. 🫣 The first time I did them I cornrows all the way down, then my client asked me to put them together so she can wear a wig. I had to think fast so I took some braiding hair and my hook to sew it all down. It worked but she will be so happy that now I found this video and can do it the right way this time. 🥰

no I place the wig cap right over, not necessary to sew the last braid. I like to make my take down for clients as easy as possible in case they don't have anyone to help.

Thank you for this! Recently i got my wig installed for my senior pics i like it but as the day goes on not so much! I feel like the braids are way to big and bulky. It leaves a hump on the middle of my head. The frontal is positioned wayy to ahead of hairline, on my forehead which shows the lace like a lot. You can't see far away but i do and i don't like it.

This is literally so hard my hair is so thickkkk idk how to add it with out it looking bulky
smaller sections and connect the braid in crown/middle of head. the longer the hair the higher you loop (shorter the hair the lower you look towards the nap) but not too far up so you can have a flat top. you should not be passing the back of your ear when connecting braids. the thicker the hair the smaller the sections should be.

Help, my hair is sort of long & i tried this on myself but when i bring the braid up to the front to braid it into the other, there is a loop of braid that's still hanging on my shoulder, how do i fix this, because i want to wear my wigs without my hair being too big/puffy underneath?

no keep the braid pattern. you have the option of leaving the braid in the back as is, bobby pin it, tuck it, or sew it down

Ellaabaddie ok so when I used to get sew-ins, I would leave it in for maybe 3-4 weeks. Can a wig like this stay on for that long? Also, with the sewin obviously no one can try to snatch it off lol would that be the same for a wig like this? Is it as secure as a sew in? 🙏
