Latest Car Reviews India | Mahindra XUV 3XO MX1 starts at 7.49 lakh, while the Tata Nexon Smart starts at 8.19 lakh. In terms of features, both cars offer the same number of features, including 6 airbags, 16-inch wheels, power windows, reverse parking sensors, ABS, EBD, and many more. In terms of engine, both cars get a 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine. The only difference is that the Nexon has a 3-cylinder engine, while the XUV 3XO has a 4-cylinder engine. Therefore, the XUV's engine is more refined and smooth compared to the Nexon's 3-cylinder engine. The Nexon's 1.2-liter engine produces 118 bhp and 170 Nm of torque, while the XUV 3XO's engine produces 110 bhp and 200 Nm of torque. In terms of driving experience, you will be happier in the XUV 3XO due to its higher torque and overall good drivability, but Nexon also offers enough power to enjoy your day-to-day driving in the city or highway. Another difference is that the XUV 3XO comes with a 6-speed manual transmission, while the Nexon has a 5-speed manual transmission.
So, it's up to you to decide which one you prefer. Both cars are safe, offer the same features, and come from Indian brands. The only thing to keep in mind is that you have to pay 65,000 Rs more for the Tata Nexon Smart Variant.
