Hi what are the regs for mounting a wooden mantle over the stove? Is it the 300mm previously mentioned?

Very interesting thanks for that. What type of plaster scratch and finishing coats should be used over brickwork?
Also is a stove fan available for an inset stove?
    Thanks

I notice you don't have a Tarth under this stove with wooden skirting board and a rug is this ok or do you need a harth

Yes, there is a full constructional hearth under the stove and the wooden trim is beyond the 300mm in front of the stove as per the regs. The skirting etc is again beyond the distance to combustibles stated in the stoves manual. If you are plastering over a wall, you can get heat resistant plaster. You can put a stove fan on insets as there is no available to top to put them on but many insets are convection stoves, which effectively do the same job of moving the air around.
