Thanks so much! It was a wonderful surprise to randomly cross paths after 8 years! You never know what con experiences can bring! Hope to cross paths again in the future!
@@VGx7 My obvious answer would be that it depends on what you want to do with it. lol. For example, I would not recommend this camera for photographers with their low megapixel count. There are better economical ones out there for a fraction of the cost (I use an OG a6000 for photos) with a higher mp. As for video, it's definitely still relevant in today's world. I'm not sure what you're using to shoot now, but as a person who's already used to the Sony ecosystem prior, it just made sense to for me to have this camera. Of course, there's added costs with different batteries and their proprietary CF express cards which are insanely expensive (not including the cost of the body itself and whatever lens you put on it). So I guess it depends on the value of content you put on it. Like it can really get expensive when you add up the costs of the body, memory cards (whether is CF express or v90 cards), the new battery, maybe a new lens (if you're not in the Sony ecosystem), and maybe a gimbal. Assuming that costs are not a thing, I would 100% recommend it. The selling point was 10 bit 4:2:2 color and 120 FPS 600 MBS. Of course there are alternates with sort of similar specs out that might be more budget friendly-ish like the GH series or Black Magic cameras. Of course each with their own caveat. Research is key obviously. Hopefully that makes some sense. lol
Fantastic cinematography dude!

Talk about criminally underrated channels. I’d love to work with you sometime at a con and produce some awesome content
Thank you! I'm usually not on the con scene as much compared to the past, but maybe we'll cross paths in the future!
@@clubjimaydesigns I am curious, as someone who has never owned one, would you still recommend the Sony a7s iii going into 2024?
