My son Matt and I attempt to create a third piece of Craftsman Period furniture that matches the style of a rocker and ottoman we built last year. Inspiration came from the designs of Charles Limbert and Gustav Stickley during the Craftsman / Mission period of the early 1900's, where their designs also inspired Frank Lloyd Wright in some of his own furniture builds. These styles remain popular today.

    Overall cost of materials:
Quartersawn and plain sawn white oak: Approx. $300
    Oak dowels: $15
Old Masters Stain & Minwax Polyurethane: $25
For design specifications and a material cut list, please see the end of the video where you can take a screen print of 4 separate pages that detail the dimensions of the build. Watch the rest of the video to see how the entire build comes together. We do hope you give this project a try!

    That is a fine table!
I own a small bandsaw mill, and I have some rough cut, live-edge hardwood lumber for sale. It's mostly 5/4 thick, but I have thicker stock. Much of it has been air dried under roof for years. I'm located near Hohenwald, Tennessee, and you would have to pick it up.
