This was a 250w 48v setup and iv never had a problem with that stock connectors which I use on all my 48v set-ups. I have a 900w 48v cart that still uses the stock connectors of the battery to the controller with no problems at all for over 6 months now and I send this thing to the moon every day And the connections never get hot. The reason why it's sparked was because it was the first time the controller had been hooked up to power that will happen to all brand new controllers when you connect it for the first time.

this is cool but its a pitty the moter and connectors can bearly handle the 48v battery (refering to the poor lad who fried is conncectors with the stock wires) i was actually thinking abt what would happen if i just threw a 48v on the stock cart. this video aswell as comments were very helpful. @@juanavila2384 There should be a connection that says key lock. that goes to your on off switch. There's a connection coming out of your controller with three wires on it. That's for your throttle

Stock motor definitely doesn't like 48 volt hahaha. I wouldn't go any more than 36 volt on stock motor

@@colby1467 I would upgrade to a 500W motor 48 volt battery. That would be your best bet. 20mph is pretty slow really

That was on a stock motor. But the motor did not last very long After that. I would recommend 36 volt not 48 volt on a stock motor
