I grew up in a bad childhood, suffering years of abuse. A family member threatened to hurt me for offering help. I had to cut them off. Years later I heard they are in jail facing trial.

Why did you say that you feel like the person you're reading for doesn't deserve that little bit of hope, and then not dive deeper into why?? Why would the person you're describing not deserve hope after the life experiences you've talked about here??? Why? Why? Why don't they deserve the small hope?????????
I appreciate your comment and reflection, however, I believe I was speaking about the 5 of pentacles at this specific point and in reading the energy was tapping into someone that perhaps has a little glimmer of hope, but might be feeling destitute in their energy. This is the message, not my opinion on what someone is experiencing. Of course everyone deserves hope and an opportunity to dive in deeper if they choose, but the truth of it all, is that some are not ready, or perhaps don't feel deserving. This is a general energetic reading, if it doesn't make sense to you, then it's likely not for you.
Also, reading the closed caption or transcript is not accurately depicting the message as many words are misrepresented making the actual statement in the video change meaning. I was describing the energy of the card, not my energy, or my opinion on the topic.

As someone who finally started posting how I connect via TH-cam, I am grateful for the opportunity to view these angles. My whole purpose revolves around healing, and the unraveling to get there differs for us all. Triggering is always a gift in understanding a deeper reflection within, as it opens the doorway to engage aspects we most often would rather ignore. It's truly a gift, once we are able to dive in.
