Thanks for the inspiration. I really enjoyed watching and I think my girl of 70 odd years would enjoy those flowers as much as your son's wife. (We met when we were 5).
Excellent Lewis. I might try making the flowers from Hazel. Using food colouring to dye the flowers is an awesome idea and the rustic vase is perfect combo 👌. Well done 👏
Thanks Gord! I actually haven’t made these before. They were something I wanted to try and showed him. I take credit for the vase and planting the seed only! Thanks for watching buddy, stay safe!
Hi Lewis, The Flowers and the vase are both beautiful. I was going to ask how green was the wood for the flowers but you answered that in the video. Great video as ever my friend. Take care Lewis. Cheers, Huw
Loved the flowers! Very pretty and very easy to make. Thank you! I thought the vase should have been upside down, sitting on the foot, but it looks nice your way, too.
Thanks Robert! I like my rustic vases with the tops like this one, I think it suits the arrangement better but that’s just me. I appreciate you watching!
What a cool piece. The flowers are excellent, especially with all the colors. Do you have to wet them once in a while so the petals don’t dry out and break off. You have so many great ideas and really enjoy your videos.
That’s so awesome man, well done - I’m definitely going to try this! Question: how did the flowers end up after drying? Anything to avoid or think about when prepping? Thanks so much! ✌️❤️🍻🖖
Thank you Jack. The flowers actually looked better a couple days after. The colour seemed more vibrant once they dried out. No maintenance required my friend! I love to see yours when you make them!
Where is the rose-like flower link? You Tube changed things so you can't find them. I wish horrible things for whatever person did this because no one likes this new format...nor was there a reason for it.
Super Job Lewis and apprentice 👍👍👍👍

Thank you Gerry! She really likes them.
Thanks for the inspiration. I really enjoyed watching and I think my girl of 70 odd years would enjoy those flowers as much as your son's wife. (We met when we were 5).

You are a creative family Lewis. Seems like a small draw knife would have been the perfect tool for the flowers.
Thanks Todd! A small draw knife would absolutely be the answer. I’m keeping my eye out for one! Thanks for watching buddy!
