It’s 2024, watching Eastenders on the iPlayer at any time of the day has been amazing. It challenges the stereotypes of Eastenders being watched just by old people in the evenings.
yes!! i’m 18 and i never watch television live unless it’s sport. the fact that i can just watch it whilst im getting ready or eating breakfast is great
Sonia needs her head examined! An engagement ring off a corpse??! 😬Wonder if Becks has a clue about the IVF/pregnancy etc? I hope they bring her and/or Carol back ASAP! 🙏 And about Tommy, maybe Harvey will get involved somehow, after that scene. I’m wondering if he could see some of his son in Tommy, he could take him to meet Aaron-maybe that would scare Tommy straight (seeing where anger/darkness leads)?
I don't think Reiss' whole personality is an act but I do think it's reasonable to think he hides behind it somewhat & that there's a darker side that he would rather people didn't think exists, perhaps not even fully consciously on his part. I personally think you're spot on about the 'fast forwarders'!
ROB. It's a T-Shirt dress! 😁 Nichola MacCauliffe was never off the telly in the 80s when I was a kid - she used to be in a sitcom called Surgical Spirit as a dragon of a surgeon, so I love that she's in EE as Debbie's mum. I think she's my character of the week. Sonia's meltdown in the Vic was brilliant, but her complete denial of Reiss wrongdoings is driving me mad. How can he murder his wife one day, then the next be laying in the sofa watching University Challenge?! Mind you a quiz show would probably help me in that situation 🤔
I loved Ricky saying he has a dad bod as well like bro you're 13 or something lmao, also Nish and Priya were so funny I love them. It was a bit panto though when Vinnie literally said 'good thing he won't find out' haha, loved the Panesars this week though as always, that's just a little nitpick. With Reiss, his comments used to make me laugh but now we know what he's done anything he says I'm like ergh creepy. Props to the actor though he's playing it well although I do worry for his lungs at times the amount he breathes rapidly when he's being all bumbling, my mum was like 'someone get him an inhaler' lol. Debbie's mum was iconic with her little 'karma will get your arse' speech to Reiss. I loved the scenes with Billy in the background too and Eve being like bro stfu lmao. Also on the streaming thing, I've not really deeped it that much, I think cos I've always watched stuff in a weird order, I don't often watch stuff as it's being broadcast and never really have but I can see how it would annoy people. People have the same complaints with stuff like stranger things and cobra kai when they release a lot of episodes at once. With Doctor who it's different tho cos the timing is so weird, I still think it's dumb for them to put it out at midnight on disney+ but I'm not paying that much just to watch doctor who earlier
Chelsea obviously has a right on the house, after all, she’s been paying the mortgage for over two years - Gray was paying it just short of three years. I think we might just see her going to visit Gray in prison - maybe just as a one-off, like Denise did with Lucas. That said, I think we might also be briefly seeing Little Mo and Lynne. Natalie Cassidey will be taking a few weeks off to film a project for Channel 4. Therefore, I think she will be temporarily accused of Debbie’s murder in the next few weeks. As for Ayesha, I think she will be the wife of the husband that Nish killed, when he wrongly thought that Suki was having an affair with him. These are by no way spoilers - they are just my thoughts.
And he should be paying child support, etc. even from prison. It's annoying that someone like her who is supposed to be a smart business woman is just shrugging off the resources to which her child is entitled.
@@gllyflower Yes, you're right. Also, I don't understand why Chelsea is shrugging it off, especially as Jordan is his child and Gray should continue to provide a roof over his head.
I really don't mind spoilers and have no problem when uploads come on early. I am in the US and cannot watch on IPlayer or BBC or wherever it is on in the UK. I watch it in the evenings after work and welcome seeing a scene of what to expect. I also look forward to seeing and commenting on Facebook and Instagram. It is difficult to watch Reiss. Never liked his character from I first saw him. I am sure he is going to let Sonia take the blame for killing Debbie. I fear for Vinny as whatever Nish has planned for him is not going to be good and Suki knows how Nish operates and has her eye on him.
A tee-shirt skirt is just a skirt made from the same knitted jersey as tee-shirts are. They do exist. And when you pair them with a tee-shirt, you have an outfit. A tee-shirt dress is a dress made out of the knitted jersey. Ree is right about this.
"Reiss is a marmite character." What is Marmite in British slang? It's something or someone that some people like very much and other people dislike very strongly: He is something of a Marmite presenter - you either love him or you can't bear him.
What I don’t understand is kheerat started and owns the call centre. It’s named after him KJP pest control. So how the hell does Nish have the rights to sell it on. Kheerat would not have signed it to Nish cos he didn’t trust him. So I don’t get that
I'm just going to go with the flow on Reiss, but I do think it's funny they had to import characters as victims to make him a serial killer. Tommy is being a little shit, and I really hope they don't take this too far. Tommy in a few years could be a really great addition to EE, and can't help thinking of what they did to Dennis and Sean. Terrible people who then became good, and once they were good, EE had something terrible happen to them; always felt that was intentional. I love the idea of Priya and Martin!
I think there is seriously an aspect to Sonia about seeing what she wants to see. She has done this with Reiss from the start--just making excuses and assumptions about what he is "really" like despite all evidence to the contrary...
Like DD in corrie Sonia deserves all she gets. She is so blinkered. She comes across as totally desperate. It's annoying to watch. I knew with in 2 weeks on screen he was a wrongun. He gave off that vibe.
Rees and Sonia scenes are so hard to watch, don’t skip them but if I never had to see them again I wouldn’t be ecstatic, Sonia makes me cringe and Rees is so frustratingly pathetic, hate watching them

That’s true. However, being an American, I end up watching EastEnders in the evening (and I’m old). 😊
@@EastSider48215 i don’t know why it never occurred to me that eastenders was worldwide! how did you get into it?
@@EastSider48215 well as long as you get to watch it that’s all that matters right
Kim's line about wanting to be roasted was one of the best things I've seen in years. Love her.
Hi!
I am a new subscriber from the US…….
Really enjoying your show!
Welcome aboard! ❤️

Omg I know! I literally shivered when he tried to put that ring on her. It’s so gross and scary.

Definitely a T shirt dress

Ych a fi. Johnny is weirdly creepy.
The old Taylor’s flat and teds flat are still vacant so some of them may move there

The person blackmailing Linda and visiting Dean - Bernie. That's my guess
I watch early at 6 am on BBC iPlayer and easy for me because I don't need watch at 7:30 pm also I can watch Neighbours 7 am and Hollyoaks 7:30 pm.
Nish is very evil and he got no heart.
And finally I hate Tommy.
Bring back the days when EastEnders was just a show on in the evening. These days, it’s a complete mess
