As far as I can observe it seems that Nicholas is a type of person who takes challenges and risks in order to grow. When "these type of people" starts questioning his sexuality because of the "not so common" roles that he played like being a homosexual and bisexual. It seemed that for the public it is not common for a straight man to play those roles, as for Nicholas, he wanted to take on the challenge. Because of that, he is getting the recognition of "knows how to create chemistry" with his co-stars. I believe so that is what he is trying to accomplish as an actor and making a name for himself. Much respect for him! I love him! ❤❤❤ truly proving what he said in his interview with GQ, "I am Nick and I am not my role."

Well I understand your wanting to branch out from RomComs Nicholas. I must say I discovered your work from “The Idea of You”. The movie is much more than just a RomCom. I too would think you’d be great in darker roles.
I grew to love the acting of Anne Hathaway. She attended my alma mater, Vassar College, along with Meryl Streep. There are 20 years difference between them and Meryl was in my class 1971.
And Nick rightly deserves all this attention because he is a great and incredibly multi-talented actor and singer 👏😍Maybe, although I really hope so, he won't win the Emmy this year, but certainly in the very near future!!! 🚀
