1. powdery mildew
Powdery mildew shows signs of white powdery substance surround the whole leaves of Gourd plant. Usually, in first stage it begins in little spots then throughout the full leaves.

If your plants are already infected with powdery mildew, spraying with neem oil can prevent the disease from spreading. But remember that not try to spray in the heat of the day.
2, Fungal disease
Fungal disease may be cause poor growth of the fruits .In fungal problem the leaves of bottle gourd begin to wither and then leaves are fall off prematurely. Over watering and poor air circulation can be the cause of such problem. Lower sun light is another cause.
Fungal disease treatment
At the first sign use fungicides to protect it . Totally to avoid wetting leaves, use underground or surface watering method. Use wood ash on the root. And spray Baking soda / Garlic oil or any other natural fungicides.
3, bacterial wilt
Bacterial wilt can cause of plants wilt and then die fast. You can see that if the disease is present in the plant when a white substance will stick to your finger the moment you pull it away.
Bacterial wilt treatment
If your plant is already affected than remove it and destroy totally neither it will affect other plants. Use proper insecticide to control it . As natural insecticide use Hydrogen peroxide it works better to protect bacterial problem.
4 ,Pest control
To control pest on your bottle gourd plant use Neem oil or Garlic oil as an insecticide.
