This is really beautiful playing and a nice arrangement, and I like it very much, thank you! But there are those couple runs from e to high e, efgabcdc, where the music calls for f# and g#, not f and g. So I just want to suggest that when someone is good enough to play this piece and play it so well, they definitely deserve to have a 34 or 41 key kalimba and play those phrases all the more beautifully and magical. with the those notes as intended by the composer. And for everyone that doesn't know, playing a kalimba that also has the sharps keys laid out in a row above the "white key" or key of c notes, is no harder to play. You just reach up to a key hovering above the usual one when you need the sharped version of it. So easy.
I'm working on Carol of the Bells myself, but am way way behind you in this! And about 20 times slower as well. But I loved my first kalimba so much I couldn't resist getting several others just to know what the others would be like, and what the learning is like on each. I usually pick up the 41 key seeds to play, so if I need them I can play the accidentals (sharps and flats).

Thank you very much for ur comment, I actually already have a chromatic kalimba that you talk about! I just wanted to make the cover exactly on this kalimba because I thought that transparent kalimba looks like ice so it will be perfect to play exactly on this one in a snowy forest 😆 this was my idea
Speed comes with practicing, you can play faster for sure if you practice enough! Good luck :)

Oh yeah, about that. Funny you bring that up and also helpful that you do. Practice is the problem. I think I'm going to practice daily, and put in a long session but on a whole lot of different stuff, but I make some progress on this or sugar plum fairy, and feel I've gone a long ways. 3 days later I pick it up again, and I've lost every thing I gained and it even feels like going backwards, because I expect more from my fingers because I've heard more from my fingers. So I really do need to refine my approach to learning and practice, and hadn't really considered what that will be. Now I've thought about it since you bring it up, and I think it will be to only work on these two pieces, and only certain sections, and not play for a long time but make progress, and then pick it up and review that same day and every day once or twice more.
