    The tsh is higher in colder weather not the time of year because when it is cold in Australia it is warmer in the Ststes.

    I think he also didn’t mention looking back at prior TSH levels obtained when someone was feeling fine with no symptoms of hypothyroidism (a baseline value). I know my TSH levels from years ago were in the 1.9 range & I was diagnosed & feel incredibly better after starting Levothyroxine for a TSH of 4.55. Thanks for the talk, especially the info about taking Levothyroxine at night 🙂

    I am 71 year old. My tsh is 5.0 & my ft3 & ft4 is normal. I made control on IBS, osteoporosis. I am suffering from Hashimoto thyroid for last 22 years. I am not gaining weight , but not reducing. I am on gluten ,sugar, dairy,soya,corn, Maidha free diet for last 2 years. Sometime I got disturbed with IBS with taking all these precautions.I am taking 62& half Thynoram tab every day. Is my dose if higher.?Can you guide me. My weight is 70 kg.
