I think Jerry deserves the title of Captain Canada! I appreciate what he’s doing for the sport, and what he’s doing to promote our beautiful country and B.C. And hey, who doesn’t like a ‘warm in the tummy’ sometimes! Keep em’ coming Jerry! ps, the beginning of video....looked a little nipply out there, lol
Captain Canada ...I like it!!!! (: And thank-you, much appreciated Tim!!! You know what it was nippy but honestly it was quite alright, , I did not sweat thats for sure haha
You just can't unsee some things! :) Thanks for this. Taking a trip to the North Carolina mountains after Christmas with my gear for my first winter flight ever.
Lol ya I suppose, just to clarify....there was no camel toe, a trick of the camera was at play haha. My apologies for any fake news that interfered with the truth. (: Hey , good luck with your first winter flight my friend, I wish you all the best. Cheer s for now!!! Jerry
This is great info. I'm going to look some of these items up, purchase them, and incorporate them in my wardrobe. Thanks for your honest, unbiased opinion.
Hey PPG Grandpa, Happy new year!!! LOL , yep good old cold weather gear, I am thankful no matter the weather and always look for the silver lining. Cheers
Can see where that foot throttle would be a huge advantage with the gloves. I have found no really warm gloves that work with my throttle. Very informative video. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the tips. I also got those Power in Motion gloves last winter. Just had to pick up a big enough pair of quality skiing gloves that go comfortably over them. Makes the hands pretty stiff with two layers on, but whaddya gonna do. Still trying to find a quality balaclava that prevents the wind from blowing right through. Fellow ppg flyer from Finland
Hey Samik, Ya I use a Ski-Doo balaclava, It is kinds like a nylon I think. , I know foot launch is a lot tougher in cold temps than the trike thats for sure, I hope you find a good face covering soon!! (: Cheers my Friend
Loved the crackling fire during the video. 🔥 This is good stuff to know. I'm curious how well I would be able to run in all that stuff. I'd be doing foot launches.
Hi Jissan, sorry about missing your comment. Sometimes they don't show up it seems. Thank-you, (: I love it too. Well I have flown foot launch only in summer so not positive but I could see how it would be a bit of a hindrance, mind you these days you can get pretty light weight layers if you can spend the cash. I hope it all works out for you. blue skies!!!!
Hey Fred.....Sadly I won't this year as I have sold it. Thank-you though, I am sort of regretting selling it right now, but I am moving in the spring and some stuff had to be sacrificed.. BUT....I may rent one a couple times so stay tuned!! (:
Hey man Jerry that’s pretty kool. I was wondering myself what gloves I was gonna use, I will be out in the winter here in Buffalo, flying th trike when I get it here. That’ll be January so it will be snowing! Bro you cracked me up when you showed up on camera in the snow half naked! Lolol! Thanks for the video on staying warm, I have bib coveralls, and plenty of layers to use, I like thos gloves you use because #1 they’re heated, #2 the strap to pull them on, I have big (swollen) hands as well, as always great video buddy! Btw. When my wife and I met 18 years ago, we both were capt Morgan drinkers.. we even named our dogs that we had (black lab and a lab/pit mix) captain Morgan and Cokie.. lol.... I have about 8 bottles of Capt in my liquor cabinet, people gave us through the years for Xmas.. lol... until the next video! Arivadorchi!
Ya man the hands can get pretty cold, mind you on your set-up with the control bar you could probably even get away with nice big mitts. Hahaha ya I don't drink much but when I do I always have a good time, lol. That's cool man, all the best peeps drink captain morgan!!! I should have flown half naked in retrospect, haha That would have been fun!!!
