Ups is by far the worst business I ever been with. We dont get a break and we work 5 plus hours and they lie about what time we get off. Everyday it’s a different time. Each day I’d be guessing what time I’m out which is ridiculous. Then breaks are really 10 minutes the time I went to bathroom and back be like 5 mins left. The job ain’t it tho. They’re generous with you all, especially if you’re able to have 3 unloaders to a truck. In Dallas it’s only two. I used to work for ups 4 years ago but I’m going back because I was hired to work for UPS Air Freight making $19/hr. They are cutting the wage back 1/22 but Redmond WA (Microsoft) is the highest paid for Xmas in the country. This year it was 26 an hour. Not sure what it will go down too.
I love working at FedEx I been working there for almost a Month I just started Dec 20, 2022. I wish they had full-time in my location they only have part-time for right now. They switch me to different position. I get paid $17 an hour.

And applied for the Location that was hiring and for the position.a work later I got an e/mail to follow some steps for an online mental test (easy) then they give u a confirmation # .after that a day or two later I got another e/mail saying congratulations ur hired. Then they give u an orientation date. And tell u to bring two forms of I.D. that are acceptable from their list. (Drivers license, state I.D., Social security card, green card, passport.) Then u attend 5 days of training (paid training) 14.50$ per.gour was the hiring pay rate at the time I got hired Probation period is 70 days.. Medical and dental benefits kick in after 9 months Raises are every year...1.00$ Drivers opportunity is after you've been there for 6.months based upon seniority Supervisor positions also available after 6 months... they get about 24$ or 25$ dollars an hour and they are part time also... 6 or 7 hour shifts typically..

I usually get about 18-19 hours per week. You can get extra hours on Saturday when they need help. They try sometimes to cut you out early but tell them you wanna work because they have to give you your 3 1/2 hours mandatory

UPS will only hire a small number of drivers off the street, so 80-90% of their drivers are people who worked as a package handler in the warehouse for at least a year and put their names on the seniority list to become a driver. Similar for trailer drivers ($120-$180K per year) but requires a CDL (commercial driver’s license), which UPS may pay for you to get if you agree to drive for them.

Man the difference in mentality between a preloader and reloader is ridiculous. I listen to these preloaders complain about what they gotta do and what's expected of them. The job is NOT supposed to be easy. You are not Gonna get get good pay and excellent benefits with an easy job. Ups want their money's worth out of you. You can become a driver and get to top driver pay $41/hr way b4 you go thru college and find a job. Gotta start at the bottom of ladder.

I live in the Raleigh North Carolina area so being in the state's capital the wages is a little bit more than what you guys are making out there in California and I can't believe that with the cost of of living being so high anyway I start my orientation tonight hoping that I can make it there I'm 61 years Young so I'm not a spring chicken but I'm a former army ranger so I'm pretty much I'm a go getter and I'm in shape to be my age anyway appreciate the video my man keep up the good work brother...
I'm in Charlotte North Carolina and my orientation is Monday lol. I've worked in FedEx Warehouses so this info in regards to management, hours and positions isn't new to me.

I worked at a factory, seems like similar work, but I want to go back to morning shift because doing night shift for 3 years was starting to kicking my ass mentally 😂 Now its not giving me an exact answer, it says says 19.50/hr after bonuses : Shift pay rate includes a weekly attendance bonus based on a 20 hour work week, must work all scheduled days), does this mean I get the 19.50 if I work all 5 days, even if I don't work 20hours or?
Makes no sense, unloading trailers is the first step of the entire process on the day and it continues for hours. The faster unloading goes, the faster the package car delivery trucks are done getting loaded so they can hit the street for delivery every morning. Unloading is for people who can physically handle unloading trailers fast.
If all the fast people are in the unload then the load is gonna crash going too slow… you definitely need fast loaders to keep up with the unload pace.

Im at 21 a hour and 20 hours a week M-F checks are 250 to 300 30 dollar taken out for union fees every week.

@@smack217 Yes two years ago it was like that but now the wage is up and we are not loosing people and staffed up so less hours all the way around.

I work in Oakland they put you on load if your slow and unload if your fast .
