Jeff the city attorney wouldn't discuss this video, I was very polite in asking if the city had succeeded from the state, as they don't think they should follow the constitution. Also the treasurers office couldn't be reached at this time. Everyone I spoke with was more than willing to give numbers of others to pass the buck to and in all I spent 40 minutes making Everyone in their government aware. Keep it up Jeff

same stuff happens in my town all the time. Cops even climb over your privacy fence to see if they can find expired tags.they say the constitution does not apply to code enforcement agents. If they find a expired tag on your property they will tear down your fence to retrieve the property

Oh good grief. As a resident of West Virginia, I've been eagerly, yet dreadfully, awaiting the days that auditors finally started hitting our quaint little forgotten state. I've been excited to see it because I want to see people educated and I'm curious to know if we're as ignorant here as I've always been sure we were, and I've been dreading it because... well....I knew darn well it was going to be an embarrassment 😅 I have a very strong feeling that this is the type of thing people will find often here in the state. As well as what likg Island audits ran into when he visited. West Virginia is full of some down to earth friendly people (though we have more than our fair share of jerks too I think), but ignorance and entitlement run pretty thick through these hills and old coal mining towns for sure. Hope to see more! Education is key!

same stuff happens in my town all the time. Cops even climb over your privacy fence to see if they can find expired tags.they say the constitution does not apply to code enforcement agents. If they find a expired tag on your property they will tear down your fence to retrieve the property

Why did the cop have to tell the auditor to not block the door in and out of city hall? Police like to give directives to get in the last word because they think that is important.
Mount Hope West Virginia City Hall is a den of vipers. Truly some of the most wicked and unkind public employees I have ever encountered. What is not shown in this video is how nasty the public employees were when I asked to use the public restroom.

Oh good grief. As a resident of West Virginia, I've been eagerly, yet dreadfully, awaiting the days that auditors finally started hitting our quaint little forgotten state.
I've been excited to see it because I want to see people educated and I'm curious to know if we're as ignorant here as I've always been sure we were, and I've been dreading it because... well....I knew darn well it was going to be an embarrassment 😅
I have a very strong feeling that this is the type of thing people will find often here in the state. As well as what likg Island audits ran into when he visited. West Virginia is full of some down to earth friendly people (though we have more than our fair share of jerks too I think), but ignorance and entitlement run pretty thick through these hills and old coal mining towns for sure.
