    How come you didn't convert the answer for strain into meters? Because the stress is given in meters, meaning both stress and the strain have to the same unit before you can divide them.

      Strain has no units because it’s a ratio of two lengths: the amount a material stretches or compresses (Δ𝐿) compared to its original length (L).
      ​Since both are measured in the same unit (like metres or millimetres), the units cancel out, leaving strain as a pure number.
      If you convert it in metres, you will get the same result:
      0.04 mm / 200 mm = 0.0002
      0.00004 m / 0.2 m = 0.0002
