Thanks those are nothing like the Nokhu. Very different camber, different shape and location on board vs. the more centered less tapered tripple camber Nokhu. Two completely different turning experiences.
@@thegoodridesnow that’s great to hear, while I thought the triple camber saved me a few times going fast over hard and changing conditions, I was not overall happy with the Nokhu. TBH not a board I would recommend to anyone just as there is many better options imo. I will be mainly resort riding in Australia, intermediate rider that likes to go faster than I should and cruising with the kids. I need a gentemstick for my quiver, I feel a void will be filled and I’ll be more complete once I pick up my ray :) Keep up your good work
Thanks and yeah not sure Gentemstick is your ride then as they aren't for bombing. They are more about perfect turning vs. higher speed so not sure if that's the call then. I just couldn't give the Nokhu 3.5 when it underperformed in same day pow tests against the Korua Otto(3.5) and especially so against Flagship (4). The Nokhu is more between the 3 and 3.5 rating where the Hammer is between the 2.5 and 3. Also, Your Hammer is not "Clean Camber"/Full Camber and it has early rise before the nose. See the pic on the table in my review. Also he Hammer and Nokhu are prety close with set back on board. The Nokhu does have more taper that helps sink the tail down a little more in powder and make it feel more turny/slashy which you might like but you would be much better off with something like the Swift if you want a beter pow board to compliment your Hammer. I would also check this out to learn what design elements give you good pow float in the most recent post on Patreon. www.patreon.com/thegoodride
@@thegoodridesnow Thank you so much for the detailed answer. Please tell me which width would suit me better with an 11us shoe? I took the Nokhu 161DF and I'm wondering if it's going to be too wide
@@thegoodridesnow I was looking at Swift, but for my 11us leg and 90kg weight, I thought it would be too narrow. He also looked at the harpoon and the orca. I really like the NS quality. Therefore, I wanted a second freeride board from them. Which one would you recommend if not Nokhu?
No problem. That's the problem with giving advice on YT. I don't have all the info I need from you to properly help. Yeah 161 should be fine for you if you want the Nokhu. I need to know your thoughts on this vs the manta/sting ray?

Hi. Why does Nokhu have only 3 stars in powder? Does it really swim so badly? I have a Hummer and he also has 3, although there is a clean camber

I don't quite understand what this board is for. It seems a bit average at everything.
