Only thing I'd like to add is that it'll not be a stereotypical weird ex lover, but one that has a point. In the movies, the crazy ex is always someone that could move on *easily* but just enjoys taunting and hurting the person, like a bored cat with a halfdead mouse. If they were to create it, they'd have to make Bond act like a real jerk (more than usual) and make her have a perfectly good reason, so you understand both sides. I suggest that James gets send to find out information about a dangerous terrorist/assassin/god knows what. James Bond finds someone with information, he's involved with dealing stuff to the group. Whether he's dealing in drugs, weapons, food, I don't care. Point is, that is willing to take the risk and go into hiding, if they get wiped out. Because he doesn't necessarily agree with their plans, he's only doing this for money. But he's willing to take that risk if James gives him something. Because his girlfriend left him, a long time ago. She always wanted a dog and he bought her one from the beginning of the relationship. When they split up, she took the dog. He wants that dog back. Also, his grandma had already given that ex-girlfriend a heirloom, a ring, that he now wanted to have for his current girlfriend. He'd explained to his ex, how grandma thought they'd get married. And how she would have asked for that important ring back, if she were still alive. But the ex said she treasured the ring and memory of the kind grandma. And that he never showed interest in either the dog or the ring, before they split up. James Bond then dresses down a bit and makes sure he meets the girl, accidentally, by 'helping' her in a store when she 'accidentally' nearly gets hit by a stack of stuff falling over. He flirts a bit and within a week, he has a date. She brings him to her house and tells him that she's surprised he was interested in her. She always felt she was a bit of a common girl. He takes it to the next level and kisses her but she pushes him away and shakes her head. She explains how her last relationship left her feeling insecure and she's still working through all that. Then, James says; 'There's no need to feel insecure, darling, you are perfect' and they kiss again. She asks him to come over on Friday, on her brother's birthday. Meanwhile, the dealer is getting impatient. He tells him that he needs to get things quickly, also, the group is ready to change places soon. It'll all be for nothing! James asks him to agree with receiving the ring and dog áfter the information is shared, but the guy says; 'I'll have to hide until you've caught those guys, that can be months! I might have to change my name and move to Spain!' James Bond visits the birthdayparty, plays along with the guests and near the end, the girl (half-short blonde hair, dark eyelashes and not-too-much of a wallflower, but just a bookwormy type) asks him if he wants to stay. He does. They make love on the bed and she hugs him and whispers that he made her feel happier than she thought she'd ever be again. He smiles and asks if she wants to hold hands. She does and she falls asleep. He wriggles the ring from her finger as he says he's going to get some water. She is sleepy and just says 'okay.' In the hallway, he calls his 'dealer' who picks him up in the dark. He puts the leash on the dog and walks him outside, slowly. The dog thinks they're going for a walk. They meet at the end of the street and the dog recognizes the former owner, so apart from a bit of happy barking, he doesn't struggle to join them. Back home at the dealer's house (one big mess, he's done pretty bad for himself) they exchange the goods and he gives James the perfect information. Everything will happen, on Monday, 4 o clock, near the city-centre. He's happily petting the dog and holds the ring against the light. He's ready to say goodbye to his dealerships, he explains. He really loves the girl that the ring is for, he is intending to marry her the way that grandma intended, with the heirloom. And the dog. A whole new life. When James asks why he broke up with the girl, he says that she distanced herself from him, after he cheated, twice. He apologized, but the relationship never healed and he broke up with her later that year, something she was upset about, but understood. "She has a good family, nice friends", he says. "She'll be fine, she has a strong safetynet to catch her. Me...I never have a safetynet. If I lose my girlfriend or my new job, I'm screwed. I had a nice grandma, but my parents were horrible, I'm not surprised I ended up in so much shit." On the other side of the city, the girl wakes up, calls James' name, feels the cold side of the bed and immediately notices what happened; James left. She cries silently and buries her face in the pillow. After a while she decides; At least we had a great night. I'll try to remember it as a one night stand.' She turns to the nightstand to put her rings on, but there's none. She remembers she was wearing it and checks the bed. None. She checks the mattress, the pillow covers, under the bed. Nothing. She runs around, to the dogbed in the kitchen and it's empty. She screams in panic and runs into the garden, crying loudly and running around, gasping for air. In a state of total shock and fear, she grabs her coat and starts running outside, trying to find a trail, but obviously none is to be found. People keep stopping her, asking what is wrong. It is clear she has a great community around her, but that doesn't change the fact that her only companion has been stolen. While the dealer is busy rebuilding the life he never had, the girl tries to find pictures of the man (James Bond) on the website of the club they met. People took party-pictures and he's on one in the background. She asks the company if he's there more often, but they tell her he's not. They also joke around a lot, asking if she's having "a little accident" and wants to find the father. She answers; 'No, he stole my dog" and hangs up the phone. After a while, she finds a trail (I don't know how, maybe she saw him on the news, as a volunteer at the dreaded city-centre event (Monday, remember) and that's when she finds out who he is and talks to him. James tells her he's busy with the sabotage of the group, but he'll listen _afterwards._ She refuses and tells him that she'll only listen if he gives her the dog back. He promises that he will, she sits down and waits. But when she sits down, he sabotages the group, they take them away silently and he leaves with them, onto another job. And she is still sitting there, waiting, until everyone leaves. She cries in anger and people ask if she maybe was stood up and/or got dumped. This all adds to her becoming a sortof villain, following James Bond around and he tells her parts of the truth. He keeps insisting the world is a better place now and she should let it go. One day, he offers her a drink, after she drunk it, he tells her that the dog is now living at her ex's house and he, James, will go away and she'll lose his trail. She can't believe it and attacks him. He attacks her back and tells her to leave him alone. She tells him to give her back the dog. He tells her the drink was spiked. Once she's out, he leaves the room and travels to another country. She wakes up and is determined to find him back and re-trace her dog. She becomes a super-villain. *Honestly* I intended for this to be a story of 5-10 sentences. This keeps happening.
The question isn't if she kills him, the question is how. Probably slow and painful, and the man she'll find for herself after this relationship will actually be his corpse
