  • Hello Creative Friends! Have you tried making Herbed Butter or Chocolate candy with Iron Orchid Designs Moulds? Well, that’s what I’m making In this video - a little holiday creativity in my kitchen and I want to share it with you!
In the video, I dive into a whole lot of butter, getting creative with herbs and garlic! But keep watching to the end when I show you how to turn chocolate, candy canes, and edible flowers into quick and easy Christmas candy!
I practiced more than a few times, making ALL the mistakes, and figured everything out eventually. I'm sharing the easiest tips and tricks in the video, like:
The best ( and correct) way to add ingredients.
How to fill the mould completely.
How to get the finished product out of the moulds.
What to do with the excess chocolate (nooo, don't eat it!)
Here are all the Iron Orchid Designs Moulds I used:

Thank you so much for the inspiration! When it is time for me to bring rolls to potluck, IOD moulded herb butter will be coming along!

What a great idea to make molded herbed butter for the holiday table! Beautiful and creative. :)

Yrs back ( before IOD moulds) I made hundreds of chocolate and white chocolate seashells for my Son's wedding. The thing that would work here is I dusted the moulds with 'edible pearl dust' and then added the chocolates in varying amounts per mould and swirled with a toothpick. The seashells were so beautiful and a huge hit at each table.
I can imagine how amazing the edible pearl dust would look with the IOD moulds.. 🤩

Place your molds on a silicone baking mat when filling them, then it will catch the excess when scraping. The mat can then be popped in the freezer. Once hardened the chocolate can be popped off and used again.

Michelle, love love love this video.
Not only great ideas to use our moulds for other ideas (keeping clay and food moulds separate of course) but more than anything how “real” you made the video. Messes and all... thank you for sharing your ideas and your kitchen time with us!

Michelle, I love the herbed butter molds! We have prime rib for Christmas every year and I make herbed butter to serve on each steak. This year's butter just got a lot prettier. Thanks for the idea!!

Can the moulds go into the microwave or oven?
