Last years extreme showdown was hell for me and took me about 20 tries. This year i finished it on my first run. If youre scared to take this program on, just remember its only making you better at the game
Very 1st swing i took in that moment was a triple. Then I homered.....then i.....homered....then i....homered! never been more disappointed donkey dicking baseballs. Haven't hit a triple sense.....
I made it to Nolan once and got absolutely toasted. Decided to try to skip him second time around and only scored like three runs against Randy. I can't believe the CPU bailed you out of that Nolan game lol
@@TheExpert9000 yea you start with some speed guys and speed commons and get bunt cheese when you can. Bunt a guy on, steal bags and then sac fly them in. Do that till you can get to gold bunt cheese perk and do the same thing. Drafting speed and bunt guys and a couple big power bats. Luck out and get the bunt cheese diamond perk from Wagner or the previous one. Then line all the speed guys at top of lineup. The diamond perk for bunt cheese works when runners are on base too. So just bunt them on over and over till there’s one run left to get. They’ll bring the infield in and you should have at least a few outs to work with for a sac fly. For Nolan I had like 11 outs to work with and with Randy I had like 20 to work with. Easiest way hands down. If your draft sucks just start over till you get what you need. Lou Brock and Ozzie Smith are the best ones cause they have 99 speed, 99 steal and have naturally good drag hunting stats. So they work even without the perk. So you wanna put those guys on the bench and some speed commons to lead off when there’s no runners on and when you get one on pinch hit with Lou or Ozzie and they should be able to bunt them over and get on base.

Bro you know when you unlock a new card, you can back out and see who the next person is right? Then go back and resume draft and pick the correct player you want if you are basing on Right Vs Left...
Is it me or did they reuse the same impossible missions and showdown from last yr mlb 22? For the mission where you need to hit 3HRs in a row in mlb 22 it was vs cole in twins field and showdown you face randy as well at the end

I've played the extreme showdown conservatively 50 times and can not beat it. And now I can't even beat the first one with all my gold hitters and perfect perfect outs to right center in SF I'm a world series player constantly. But apparently I can not hit the CPU with bad cards

The one issue I have for this challenge is they made bob Gibson really easy, when he is a top 3 pitcher all time. The giants challenge was way harder.
Literally got to Randy on first try (note: I'm ranked in the 500s), had two runs to score and that man struck me out like 18 times.

Yea the red challenges are ones you’re not allowed to fail at or you restart. The blue ones, if there are blue ones, are not mandatory to beat

I pulled Elly from the shark week chase pack, and pulled king tuck from a different pack.

On higher difficulties always normal swing. On the lower ones you can get away with power swinging
