    Thanks for the video. I just had to order a set of these for my daughter's team because they were the most inexpensive 12 ft goals as they're age group plays with larger goals now. Dreading getting them broke down small enough to fit in the bed of my Tacoma and set up and break down for practice.

      My truck is a 5.8’ bed. I only disassemble the corners and the center joint of the cross bars. So essentially reducing it to half a goal then the half’s to thirds… and both of them fit in my truck bed with all my other gear. (Ez up bench wagon balls etc)

    We’ve had so many issues with disassembling this goal

      After you pull off the corner attachments you can slide the sleeve up to give you enough slack to separate the poles. Leave the sleeve on the separated poles and fold it up and put it in the bag

    hi, me and my dad are having so much trouble assembling this, w'eve gotten through most of it, but we just cant get the poles into the corner thing, how did you do it?

    • @fastsmogr
      @fastsmogr  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t take it apart with exception to the cross bar and the corners so the poles stay in and never come out. They are all taped together which makes it easier so they don’t separate.
      Insert the poles fully assembled. It’s a lot like a tent. Any junction you have to nurse a bit to feed through. That’s the inlet each corner and the outlet x2
      I find the hardest part is actually putting the bottom strap on. And gloves are a good idea so you don’t get fiberglass splinters.
      Good luck. 👍🏻

    No

      I’ve used them for about a dozen matches and half dozen practices and they have held up just fine. Only issue I’ve had is one end of the tent poles came untied I had to fish it and retie it. I’d attribute that issue to a “parent helper” disassembling them.

      Your video helped a lot but I hate this thing but the others are too expensive

      Assembling the corners only for training served me well. I was able to set a field in 15m or less with two goals corners and cones for touch lines.

      I am sorry I don’t use it because of the way I taped the joints. I’m sure it does easily.

      No problem. One change I made after this video is I un-taped the center most coupler for the 12’ section so that I could fold it in thirds and it fits in my short bed truck that way without fully disassembling or hanging out the back.
      We have had a few matches with these goals already and they have held up much better than expected.
      We can get them setup in about 5 minutes. Really glad we got them.

    Hey man im looking to get some goals to play. Most of us are 17-18 years old. Since there are no actual “steel” poles how would you say the sticks hold up lets say if we hit the “crossbar”

    • @fastsmogr
      @fastsmogr  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We used these for a u10 travel team they can strike pretty solid and we have had some hits to the bars. I taped them together as seen in the video with exception only to the center most joint in the crossbar and the corners.
      We have never had one pop out during play. They have not required repair.
      That said it’s going to flex when it takes a hit. It won’t rebound like a solid bar.

      @@fastsmogr have you ever had older people kick at them. Cuz i hear different things about this goal some people say its good others that its too weak. And we are around 17 so idk if it will hold up

    • @fastsmogr
      @fastsmogr  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We haven’t used these for that age group. But it’s not to say they haven’t had their share of abuse. Roughly 25 trainings and a dozen matches.
