Awesome video mate, I don't get carp here, but after watching this I would love to have a go at getting rid of a few carp on soft plastics.

Looks like good fun Lubin. Which Okuma Spinning reel do you think is the nicest to fish with? Ceymar HD, Inspira ISX or ITX Carbon? Cheers.

That was epic mate. What a fun way to clean up the waterway. I picked up my new cod setup today, the exact one you use (Komodo SS 364 with the komodo rod and platypus braid). Keep the good stuff coming!

I know exactly where you are fishing, but my question is, are there good size cod there mainstream yet after the last blackwater devestation.

Do you keep the plastic high in the water or just keep it in front of them. When they are crusing on the top ?

Yeah keep it high in the water and get it past their field of view, they usually can’t resist!

G'day Lubin, I'm just waiting for the day when someone says they've joined the metre club. It won't be a cod but it'll be a carp. I haven't see it yet but the way things are going it'll happen one day.

I’m sure it will. I caught one earlier in the year that would be almost 90cm I reckon!

One day, you’ll need to chase the big ones in the Lachlan river around Hillston NSW. There are a few that make the metre mark. So much fun.

Thanks mate. Na I dispatch the carp, they are fun to catch but they do over run the rivers

Oh man I miss this type of fishing. NZ koi are not nearly as cooperative 😢

Please don’t put them back in the water because they do so much damage to the rivers

These ones ended up on the bank and you’re right they do a lot of damage to our rivers!
