imo an important personality trait to know about Jimin, especially gearing up for ship videos, is he reaches out for attention a lot from people he trusts. Things like "hyung did I do a good job?" "tell me I look nice" or hugging someone or grabbing their hand. He's very hands on and loves love.
Yeah he's very insecure and when you are that that's what u tend to do, iknow from experience
thats just the cutest thing about him tbh haha And his face is so cute when someone complements him. You can see he really takes it to heart and it makes him so happy.
Fr tho when he seeks for attention and gets it, he becomes so happy but when he gets complimented/praised randomely, he becomes so shy 😂

BTW their 2017 MAMA performance was also amazing with an Intro, Not Today, DNA, Cypher pt. 4, and Mic Drop Remix.
React to the story behind spring day
Even the way Jimin walks and holds his body shows that hes a contemporary trained dancer. Jimin and Tae are my two biases and I love them both for their personalities and also neither are afraid to show when they are salty with things. They all have voices that move people. Its not all about perfect singing its a lot to do with sincerity and honesty. Jimin really used to be so harsh on himself, now hes getting a lot better. That was Spring Day at the MMA 2017 awards show.

At the tour in Sao Paolo Jimin cried his eyes out because he was so moved that Armys were singing their hearts out along with him, while he was a little sick. It was as if he had a huge choir of backup singers with him as he, and the vocal line performed Truth Untold. It was beautiful, and a little funny- at least to me. Jin asked Jimin about getting sick because he had a cough while they toured in the states, and Jimin basically said his throat knows better than to get sick, he's too trained 😂 the caught in a lie videomakers are gonna have a field day with that. 😁Every time I hear "let the dog out" I think about Billy and Mandy cartoon when Billy was saying that as he used the bathroom 😂
The performance is for Spring Day and he stayed stable while doing that move I was stunned
I remember they mentioned Jimin used to always push himself hard and study a lot and receive perfect scores during his time in school. He seriously was always such a hardworking human being. We real ARMYs truly love him so much.
J-Hope had a birthday and he got messages from parents, it was very emotional 🥺
One thing I really like about this creator's videos is that they're like a documentary. It really makes it interesting and different than other introductory videos.
Squishy's intro videos are super fun, and they have more "facts" like birthdays, where the member is from, pets, etc. However, they are in a set up that is common/familiar for an intro video. I would still recommend you watch them, even if it's on your own time. Personally, I liked watching both videos to get an even more complete picture of the member.

Yeah. One vid focuses on one aspect, the other focuses on another. I think generally watching both series helps you get the whole picture. (squishy min yoongis intro series is alil outdated, and has some incorrect facts, but its still a fun series) i like both series

Hobi was crying because it was his birthday and all the guys organized a video for him. In the video along with messages from the boys were messages from staff and his family (mom, dad and older sister). This was for his 21st birthday. Yeah Jimin had a melody made for Fake Love that didn't get used too. We heard it in their Bon Voyage series, he played it in the car while Jungkook was driving. omg ive been waiting for this )): jimin has been my bias for over five years now and seeing him grow and become more comfortable with himself has been such a blessing. i relate to him the most out of all of the members, and, i absolutely do love all of the other members, but jimin just holds this place in my heart. i love him so much.
Ugh my double bias 😭 Jimin was the member that drew me to BTS and I honestly admire him so much. He really cares for his members and is that person who tries to always be there for everyone. He’s just so precious. I love his dancing style too. It’s so beautiful.

as others mentioned Jimin was always hard on himself but getting better and better, and as shown in the video, members are big part of it, they always compliment and encourage eachother and thats one of many things i love about BTS, they are just amazing people
and Spring Day as a whole is beautiful on another level, whether its the song, MV or dance, all have their own explanation videos

You should watch squishy min yoongi introduction video to every member on your own time because I dont wanna pressure you with reacting to more BTS videos this video is good which goes more into him working hard but the other has more more different information like the relationship with each member and funfacts and yea but you can watch that at your own time honey ☺️💜💜💜

JHope crying... this is the prob with using small snippets... Those of us who saw the whole scene (BTS Bomb) were not upset because we saw him speak with his parents and realized immediately that they were tears of joy.
I read a blog by a professional dancer and dance teacher who wrote about Jimin. She couldn't contain her amazement of Jimin's skills. She pointed out for us non-dancers that someone with a modern dance/classical training cannot automatically do hip-hop. The 2 styles are not compatible because classical dance teaches you to lengthen your body and extend your movements and all muscle movements are trained to reach upwards and outwards. Whereas hip hop is danced with power and strength and movement is inward and downward. When leaping, for example, ballet/contemporary dancers maintain a lightness and leap upward, with an emphasis on 'flight' as opposed to hip hop dancers who do not use their legs and torso in that manner but leap using strength and muscle, not elongating the body, and with an emphasis on landing powerfully. She said that Jimin had to 'unlearn' everything he knew and retrain his body for hip hop.
That's one of the main reasons he stayed the longest in the practice room, why he was pushing himself so much, and almost didn't make it into debut cuz he was only 1 year trainee (he literally was almost placed out of bts a day before their debut)...i am not a dancer but i love watching dance shows and listening about the art itself so I knew and understood Jimin's pov and why he was like that before. Like you said, he had to relearn everything and start from zero.
I hope was crying bc it was his birthday and bts made a video compilation of his friends saying happy birthday.But the surprise was that his parents was one of the videos.And he hadn’t seen them in a long time.

Others have already told you the reason why Hobi cries in this and I think it's really sad that Kpop idols, especially in their first years when they are so young, don't get to see their families often :(
I find it funny how in this introduction video, after Jimin says about the Blood Sweat and Tears clip "It was just an accident", his solo song with the words "Caught in a liieee" starts playing haha 😂 I don't know if that transition was intentional by the uploader, but you gotta know the phrase "Caught in a lie" has become a widely used meme or joke inside the fandom 😂

i think that you could probably watch squishy min yoongi's later, or on your own time, bc they contain a lot of inside jokes and are a little dated.
EDIT: the only thing i dislike about these intro videos that you're watching is that they dont necessarily have the same sense of fulfillment in ending as squishy's jsjs

Also I realized now that best guides of BTS are the one video you reacted to months ago 😂 "Who is BTS: Meet the 7 members of Bangtan" that's the best for me it shows you a lot of facts about them. I glad you get to see that first, I always recommend that video first to the people who reacts to them for the first time. 💜
People who are trained dancers have cleaner lines to their body. That's one of the differences of Jhope and Jimin's dancing Jhope has that street dancing edge and Jimin is just softer. The dance that you wanted to know about is the Spring Day stage.
Jimin is not softer... Jimin danced hip hop too just that contemporary training made him graceful... Have you seen any Korean solo dance fancam that has more views than jimins... That's because he's very skilled.

One thing that would be fun to see you react to is BTS Episodes which are behind the scenes/the making of videos that BTS release on their YT. I know you recently watched some of BTS at MMA & MAMA so it would be cool for you to see their backstage vlog of it and they also do ones for all their MVs. The original videos don’t have English subs (#BigHitGetEnglishSubs) but you can find English subbed versions on either BangtanSubs or JL_KDiamond.
yeah I think the behind episodes are the best ways to get to know them and how they interact other than run episodes since they're both usually pretty long
nicki smith I was also thinking of recommending Run episodes but because they’re on Vlive which is owned by Naver I’m worried there would be copyright issues and the reaction would have to be edited with pauses like the Mnet ones which is extra work and some people don’t seem to like (I’m fine with it btw) but BTS Episodes seem the safer and easier option

I love this new series but keep in mind that the creator of this series made 8 videos. The first is about the group in general and from 2 to 8 are the members... that's why jimin was part 6 and not 5 .... so I believe for your next video you should put from 1 to 8 if you want to react to all of the videos or from 2 to 8 if you want only the intros for the members.... love you 💜

This new series is really good, thank you Anitra! I was thinking that maybe the best way to get to know the members and their different traits would be reacting to their individual videos or videos where they are being described by others but I believe that the best way to get to know them is actually mix them all up, people talking about them, they themselves describing what they like and their experiences and watching them just be... in their everyday lives. It’s probably not important but these go in order. Episode 1 is an overview of the whole group then it goes in their official order (Namjoon, Jin, Suga, Hoseok, Jimin, Tae, and Jungkook.) even if you watch them all out of order, make sure you watch the overview, please and thank you!! :) I’m so glad you’re doing this series. You should try SquishyMinYoongi even though you've already watched the Habots videos. Hers are quite informative, long, but informative. Not that this one wasn't good but her series are put together really well.

When you talked about k-pop groups using back up tracks in their live performances as safety nets the Spring day performance at 13:38 was the one I was most interested for you to talk about, as there is so much moving and the Jimin moment where he sings and dances at the same time made me second guess if there was backing or not but it doesn't sound like it. It would be interesting for you to comment on this during the reaction to it.

I agree. Not to put down Jimin in any shape or form - he is an amazing contemporary dancer and the way he moves is so graceful, beautiful and fluid, but it makes me sad that J Hope is so egregiously overshadowed and his skills are not as appreciated or recognised as much by the fandom. Both Jimin and BTS' choreographer themselves have said that J Hope is the best dancer in the group. I remember the members one time saying that it took them 3 hours to learn a part of the choreography in DNA, and J Hope arrived late to practice and was able to learn the move in just 10 minutes - much to everyone's jealousy 😂
But yeah, I swear J Hope has to be one of the most underrated main dancers in the idol world :c

If you do ship videos in the future… u probably know because you are already a Kpop fan and I know there are ship-wars in every fandom,,, but there are many extremists(?), shippers that are toxic and take shipping wayyyyyy too far.
Many “normal” or at least fans that understand that ships are fantasies that fans create (they could be real.. who tf knows. But we shouldn’t be acting upon our assumptions so strongly) and that the boys are humans with real feelings and not just dolls for us to put into random relationships for our own satisfaction. Do not claim those overboard shippers that start fight between the fandoms (I think those people don’t know how friendships or relationships work). Many of us believe they shouldn’t even be called an ARMY but lots of them sadly exist,,, and create strange rumors and analysis videos about members hating or feeling jealous… this is especially prominent with maknae line shippers but I’ve seen at least one toxic shipper from every ship. Please don’t feed into that.
(Shipping is totally fine in moderation. I ship vmin but appreciate all ships but some people really do get mad or angry for some reason when they see somebody from their fave ship interact with another member.)
Also if you see hateful comments under any ship video please know its not you and just them.
PS. I love your reactions!! I double bias Namjoon and Yoongi but Jimin (and Tae) is my bias wrecker!!
he is such a hardworking guy, so sweet and is always there to comfort the other members. I sometime wish he would give more of that love and comfort that he constantly gives out to the other members, and ARMY to himself. Luckily the other members are there for him and also praise him a lot. He deserves all the love he gets.
