But anyway just bored and decided to make a video of the different voices the Mr. Men show have, mainly the US and UK dubs. Main reason for this was to see just how different the voices sound, along with wanting to see it for myself since it seemed like no video like this has been made before or from what I know.

Personally, the US voices are much more cartoony and goofy while the UK version is more realistic with the voices. I like both tbh

BUT MR TALL'S US DUB THO-
I like how diverse this show is, rather than having everyone having an standard accent (not that I hate it) but everyone is different, Mr. Tall way of speaking (African American) and Mr. Bounce (Indian)
Yeah it gives each character their own feel and liking to the fans

I prefer the UK dub sooooo much more. The US one sounds so strange. I love Mr. Bump's UK voice so much more. It really gives more naivety to his character.

As much as I am okay with the UK voice, I really prefer the US voices for the main cast.
Yeah I am really use to the US voices since I grew up with it, but over time the UK voice you can get pretty use to as well, still sounds weird time to time though XD

Yeah, I know how you feel. I feel the narrator from the UK version (who I remember doing the Grasshopper from James and the Giant Peach) fit best, in my opinion. The UK sounds weird from time to time. But still, they did kinda tried their best.

I think the us version DOES suit the characters, BUT the uk version of mr. Quiet is so quiet i can barely hear him but thats why it suits him

If you couldn't tell already I grew up with and prefer the UK version of the show. But before you call me biased I like the US version and as you just read I prefer some of the voices from the US dub and some like Mr Lazy are pretty interchangeable to me. Let me know which you prefer
Miss Chatterbox is my personal favorite. I had this book of her that I constantly read
The UK version overall is definitely better, they dont sound anywhere near as annoying, whiny and cringe. Yes the US has more diversity in the voice acting compared to the mostly regional accents but the UK voices suit their characters better and is more fitting for a British show. Also the UK songs are way better overall too.

The US cast is so much better. They have so much more diversity. Their voices all match their personalities, but in the UK version they all sound the same. Mr Tickle's voice is SO much cuter in the US version. He's my favorite. XD

I agree with you, while over time I did get use to the UK voices they do sound similar unlike the US version. Yeah I also love tickle's US voice
Well, the UK voices are from all over the UK. Even including others from Europe like France and Germany. Also, they're more different tones, than accents. Also I find Mr Bumps and Miss Daredevil's voices really grinding. But there are not very good UK voices too. I think a lot of people are biased, because one of them is the one they used to watch. I don't particularly prefer one to the other, but I'm used to the UK one, however I'm only saying this so you can understand the other side. :-)

I love both versions
Another thing to note, even though I grew up with both versions of the series (don't ask how), I don't how if I can handle most of the voices done by Teresa Gallagher. I mean if I hear her voice, I always picture Nicole Watterson's voice doing those and I have a hard time concentrating on them all (at least ones by Teresa anyway) being individuals instead of all sounding like Nicole Watterson from Gumball.

Also it's kinda funny how even though they used different VAs, they managed to keep Miss Magic with a Scottish (?) accent in both dubs.

I couldn't really tell the difference between the UK Season 1 voice for Miss Scary and her UK Season 2 voice. Probably because I wasn't paying enough attention.

3:27 In my opinion, Miss Curious sounded a lot like Bokkun from Sonic X in the English dub, but they had different voice actors.
Mr. Happy, Miss Naughty, Miss Helpful, Miss Scary, Miss Sunshine are the ones who have 2 VAs in both seasons. I'm just saying
Ah yes that is correct, I even looked more into it. It is just with miss scary you could easily tell it was a new voice actor while the others sounded closer to the old voices. Thank you though :)

I honestly prefer the UK version of Miss Sunshine.
To be honest, I've always found the US Voices very annoying. That's why I prefer the UK Dub.

Honestly Mr. Stubborn is the only character where I prefer the US voice over the UK voice (the other is little miss magic).
Nothing wrong with Scottish Stubborn, but Godfrey Stubborn is far more hilarious, and the least cringe inducing voice in the US version.

I grew up with the UK version, but for some voices I prefer the US version.
Also: I don't remember that part with Miss Helpful ever in the UK version of Trees, was it a deleted scene?
From the episode I've seen online it was in the episode, I think it was the first skit that happened, other than that I don't know.
